❤️ ~ Puppies and Cuddles

No-one's POV:

Zander and Luke strolled hand in hand through the bustling streets, enjoying the warm sunshine that bathed the city. Despite their contrasting personalities, they were the perfect pair, each complementing the other in their own unique way.

As they walked through the streets, Zander felt a tug on his hand, Luke had found himself looking at a certain store. A pet adoption agency. He gazed at all of the breeds of puppies and dogs they had, bending down to play with them through the glass.

Zander knew how animals could pull at his own heartstrings, but he couldn't let Luke get one. What would his mother think if he just came home with a random dog that his boyfriend wanted? "Luke, you know we can't get a pet right now."

Well, it turns out Luke has the same ability to pull on Zander as animals do, immediately turning to Zander. "But they're so adorable! Imagine all of the soft puppy cuddles!! Ohhh please Zander? Wont you even consider it?" Luke begged, his eyes wide and pleading.

Zander's cheeks flushed a shade of pink, and by that Luke immediately knew his teasing was doing what it needed to get him a dog. However, that was not enough to make Zander give in as he gently pulled on Luke's arm, signalling that they should go. Luke sighed, complying and getting up to follow Zander, looking at all of the adorable balls of fluff he left to be a doll in the window.

As time went on, Zander noticed that Luke was a little upset, easily zoning out and not really paying attention. At one point he even let go of Zander's hand, which upset Zander a bit. "Are you really that upset?" He asked, no reply.

Zander was thinking of what he said;  "But they're so adorable! Imagine all of the soft puppy cuddles!! Ohhh please Zander? Wont you even consider it?"

His eyes lit up as he pulled his boyfriend's head closer, kissing him softly. Luke seemed to snap out of his trance, kissing back. "What's this for?" Luke asked, slightly confused.

"I'm sorry we can't get a dog, but I can still supply cuddles!" Zander laughed, seemingly proud of himself. Luke chuckled softly, kissed him once again and picked him up bridal style, carrying him whilst running through the store.

The rest of that hour was filled with Zander's demands of putting him down, and Luke teasing him to make him blush.
