💛 ~ Thunderstorms...

One night, thunder roared and lightning crackled across the sky, filling the inviting darkness with flashes of light and loud roars that shook the souls of those still awake. Zander, who had always been afraid of thunderstorms, felt his anxiety rising. His mind started running with fear, praying for the sounds to pass soon.

Luke, always looking out for Zander during hard times like this, noticed his distress almost immediately. He gently approached Zander, wrapping his arms around him in a comforting manner.

Zander tried to hide his fear, not wanting to burden his beloved boyfriend. But as another rumble of thunder echoed through the night, tears filled his eyes.

Luke, knowing Zander better than anyone else, softly whispered, "It's okay to be scared, Zander. I'm here, nothing can hurt you..."

Zander hesitated for a moment before crumbling into Luke's shoulder and sobbing, his grip tightening around Luke's waist as he allowed himself to lean on his boyfriend for comfort and reassurance.

As the storm continued to rage outside, Zander's anxiety gradually subdued to the warmth of Luke's arms. Luke pressed soft kisses from time to tome on Zander's forehead, his touch a reminder that his troubles would die out within time.

They stayed like that for the rest of the night, wrapped in each other's arms, finding strength and peace in their love. With each rumble of thunder, Zander's fear slowly melted away, replaced by laughter and the whispers of him and Luke talking, realising that he was not alone in facing his fears.

As the storm eventually subsided, the dawn broke, casting a soft glow upon their peaceful faces. Zander looked up at Luke, his eyes filled with gratitude and love.

"Thank you, Luke," Zander whispered, his voice filled with gratitude. "What would I do without you?"

Luke smiled tenderly, his heart overflowing with affection. "I love you, Zander. Through thick and thin, I'll always be here by your side." The two leaned in, sharing a tender kiss, their love swelling into new extents.
