To the one person in my life to ever show me what a true friend is.

I've written a little poem in regards of my big spoon.

As the sun shines brightly among our battered souls, it shimmers about, throughout your freckles and moles. The colors of your laughter is like a reviving drink of water.

Red, for the beating of our hearts intertwined. Blue, for the rainy days we tend to swim through. Purple, for the bruises we've mended and chilled.

Your pearly smiles and crinkled nose is the reminder of what we live for. The waterfalls and bridges are the beholders of our memories. Each one so precious to me.

Now, when we grow old and grey, remember that I will always be the one to catch you when you fall. We may fall together. Thank god cell phones exist.

Regardless of whether we fall or not, I will always be there to cuddle you, and hold your soul close to mine, no matter how old.

AnnMarie, you give me the greatest joy of knowing that even in seldom company, and no matter how far you may be, your heart and soul will always belong to me.
