It's Friday the day of the after school dance, We are at school and I with Maya at her locker, We haven't seen much of Anna so I was kinda worried but anyways Maya is singing as she looks at herself in the mirror that's in her locker.

"Hey" someone said and we look beside us and it's Anna "Hey" I say "Sorry I yelled at you last night" Maya says "Wait, you too had a fight?" I ask "Yeah maybe if you weren't hanging out with your boyfriend constantly then you'll know!" Maya says as she rolls her eyes

I ignore and shrug off what she said "Yeah, I thought I'd hear from you" Anna says to Maya "Last night was just really shitty and like.." Anna adds

"Yeah, last night was really shitty for me, too" Maya says "You know, Guess we just can't do everything together like we thought" Anna says and she glances over and sees heather talking to Becca and Connie "I'm just gonna saying "Hey" to Heather really quick" she says before walking over there

I watch her talk to Heather, Becca and Connie in disbelief, then me and Maya walk over to her and we hear them talking about Anna parents getting divorced "I'm sorry about your parents divorce" Heather says "Oh, Thanks" Anna says "When my parents divorced it sucked but you'll be fine" she adds

"It's just hard to comprehend" Anna says "Yeah" Heather agrees "Yeah, I know it feels like the world's ending, right?" Connie adds "Yeah, it really does and I'm like kind of in shock" Anna agrees "Mm-hmm, On the bright side you'll get two of everything" Heather points out

"So, I gotta go" Heather says "Ok, Bye" Anna says and they quickly walk away and i scoff because walking off as well

I know I was kinda being a bitch and I shouldn't be walking away, I should be helping her but the fact that she told Heather before she told me made my blood boil with anger, Like I'm her best friend not fucking heather Taylor!

It was lunchtime so that's where I was walking to but once I walk into the lunch room the intercom comes on "Good morning, Trailview Middle it's 55 and partly cloudy, Bring your coats tonight for the dance and Remember our clothing rules, Nothing short, Nothing tight we gonna dance till the morning light!" The principal says and I go to sit down at the lunch table with Sam, Gabe and Jareef

"Where have you been, Knuckle brain?" Sam ask "Up your mom's ass" I reply with a smirk "Fuck you" Sam chuckles "But uh, Where's Anna and Maya?" He adds "I don't know and I don't care" I say crossing my arms "Do you guys fight or something" Jafeer questions

"Maya and Anna had some fight at a sleepover they had and Anna just pissed me off earlier!" I answer "And I guess Maya is mad that I didn't come to the sleepover" I add

"So now we aren't talking" I add "Oh, okay" Sam says "But it's good, I have other people to talk too" I say "And who are those people" Sam questions "Nosy much but it's basically all boys, You, Gabe, Jafeer, Brandt, Dustin and Alex" I say and Maya walks to the table and sits down "Hey fart lords" She says "Hello?" I say slowly "Where's Anna?" She questions

"She's over there" Jafeer points and we all look in the direction "The popular girls" Gabe adds and i scoff and nods "Okay first, she doesn't tell us that her parents are getting divorced second she sitting with the popular girls, Like what the fuck!" I point out and I cross my arms

"So she's sitting with them now?" Maya ask "it's really different" she adds

"Do you know that she told Heather before she told me her parents are getting divorced?" Maya says "I think we all know that now, i literally just said that" I say "Not everything is about you, Jules!" Maya shouts and I roll my eyes as I turn my head into a different direction

"But anyway can you believe that?" Maya adds "Ok, I'm gonna tell you something, Maya Just don't freak out" Gabe says "Don't say anything to me right now" Mays says "What do you have to say, What? What?" She adds
