(Current fav #1!) Red Eyes

Shifting, swirling, turning, twirling

The Red eyes stare from beyond

As a heat beyond fire burns at your skin

Rage, is all that lies within

Those eyes, stare, glare, mean and ready to kill

Intense heat overfills

Their eyes, merely glowing, that amber red

And if not for his patience, you'd already be dead.

But then there's a switch, as fast as a blink of an eye

As what was once flames

Snow lies

The eyes instead emit a cool blue

He does not want to,

But he knows,

He has to hurt you.

This one is more relaxed, staring, thinking, but numb

Ice forms, and snow falls, each flake feeling numbing cold

His eyes though, that's what to mention

As by those blue glowing orbs

There are frozen tears attached.

And then just the same

The scenery once again change

Thunder strikes and rain falls

As laughter and insanity

Is what calls.

He chuckles and mocks

His voice that of a child

Excitement making him go wild

He stares without a care

Hurling those bolts of lighting everywhere

As rain falls

He is then called

He sees

And then he's force to leave

As the yellow fades

And Red once again takes place

And rage, is what you once again face

A.N- I absolutely love this poem! Not only does it have an origin to the entire... well... I ain't gonna completely spoil it, but it's an idea I go into in my book series. And to just look back at this poem and see it as it was: pure fanatical and untamed ideas. It's so interesting seeing how they matured and turned into what they are today! But even so, seeing this poem as it, it has so much variety, so much OOPHM! And I absolutely love it for what it represents, what it is, and how it pushed the idea to what it has become! Absolutely recommend, but it's probably just my biased.
