I am a warrior

A blade at my side

Carrying the honor of thousands of lives

I bear scars that many see

But many more are down beneath

Under the skin

Under the mind

A restless soul

One of a kind

I am a warrior

But this wasn't my dream

I am a fighter

But not all is what it seems

I give it my all

And I fight and brawl

Slashing my blade

Firing away

Taking another life

And watching it fade

I fight so others don't

I sacrifice and lay down my life

So I can fight for what I believe in

Even if I die

My dreams that I carried

Are forever sealed once I'm buried

The lives that I wish could continue on

Are determined by my warrior song

Betrayal,

Deception

Loyalty

And blood

That is what composes war

... And I've seen enough, but I must see more

Don't cry for me

Or shed me sympathy

This is my life

And I need no Goddamn empathy.

But what I do want

And I want to make this clear

Please...
