Cat Outside

I once knew of a cat outside

Her coat was fluffy

And she was so alive

Brown spots scattered across her fur

Big green eyes, a voice nearly unheard

I befriended this cat with pleasures of food

And would you believe, I was the one she meowed to?

She was so kind, a cat for the ages!

One, that wasn't meant for cages

As much as I tried

She had to go outside...

This is a poem in respect to all those cats who had to go outside

May your memory never die along the roadside...
