"That YOU should stop talking nonesene"
"Why are you so mean?"
"Because I want you to shut up and listen"
"We barely know each other and you're getting so rude to me right now"
"Do I look like I care?"
"Actually, yes, but do whatever you want, I don't fucking care about it"
"Now you're the one who's rude"
"I'm just telling the truth"
"Okay, okay, I don't care what you think"
"You better mean it"
"I'll go downstairs now and maybe talk to your sister about your behaviour"
Maybe I've said too much because of the way he looked at me, so hurt and yet so cute, I don't know why I said that but I felt like I had to apologize to him for how I've behaved. I think I'll leave to give him some time to think.
"I'll be downstairs when you're ready to talk to me again" I said calmly, before walking downstairs but got stopped by Aether.
"Please.. don't leave.." It made me wonder why he said that after our little argument, but he gave me such a pleading look that I couldn't help but stay. I know I shouldn't have stayed but I did anyway.
"I.."
"Hm?"
"I.. hate it..."
"What do you hate?"
"Being alone.."
"I love being alone sometimes"
"I guess.. everyone feels different about solitude.."
"That's just how humans are, Aether"
"True... I guess.."
I don't know why but I pat his head, stroking his hair gently. Which was probably not a good idea since Aether suddenly started crying. Did I remind accidantally him of his father or.. did he not liked it? Whatever it is, I will give my best to calm him.
I just pulled him into a warm but close hug, I've just noticed that Aether was a little talker than me, but not much and yet I could still feel his head on my shoulder, I didn't mind that though. I gently stroked his back, sadly the hug didn't last long. The door suddenly opened and Lumine entered the room without actually asking or knocking.
"What are two you doing?" She asked, with the smile I've always hated whenever I've seen a girl.
"What do you want?" Aether asked with an hint of annoyance in his voice.
"So rude and that in front of a guest, You should be ashamed of it" Lumine replied, with a teasing look on her face.
"I'm ashamed of you being my sister"
Savage answer.
"I'm still better than you"
"Do I look like I care? You're still acting like a brat and Mom tolerates it, which is actually embarrasing for a mother"
"Don't bring Mom into this, she doesn't have anything to do with our conversation!!"
"Stop being a Mommy child, grow up already"
"That's what the right person says"
"At least I'm not clingy and tell everything that happened to Mom"
"If you're not clingy then why are you hugging him?"
Did she just pointed to me? How rude
"I can hug my friends whenever I want as long as they want to get hugged"
"That's obviously not the case, Kunikuzushi is always rejecting your hugs and you're still hugging him"
Who is that now?
"He still lets me hug him"
"STOP ACTING LIKE A TOTAL CHILD"
"I'm sorry, there must be some misunderstanding"
"No there's not"
"Leave my fucking room now"
"Before?"
"Before i'll hurt you for real"
"I'll tell that mom"
"Hahaha, as I thought"
Is it just me or is that situation about to get risky? Should I jump in?
"I'll just say bye, 'sister'" Aether said, I guess he just wanted to avoid any further arguments. I wanted to say something about it too but I kept my mouth shut and just listened.
"What?" She asked annoyed.
Aether suddenly took me by the hand and walked outside his room, leading me downstairs. Wherever he wants to go, I am happy to follow him to his destination either as friend or lover, i'll still follow his path carefully.
"Sorry about it, but I just wanted to go away from her"
It made me feel quite nervous about it but I managed to hide it. It doesn't matter to me what others think but I have to say that I have a crush on him even if I don't know him well, I don't care about it, i'll tell my friends about it later when I'm at my grandparents house.
"Give me your phone for a moment"
"Why?"
"Just give it to me"
"What are you going to do?"
"It's a surprise"
"Hmpf"
Why did Aether wanted my Phone? And why is he typing quickly? I sure hope that He isn't texting with one of my friends though. I'll take a look at it later, I have to wait until he's done. I'm nervous though.
"Here" Aether said and gave me the phone back. The smile he had on his face made me feel warm.. and quite confidential then suddenly my father called out my name, Aether looked at me a little disappointed but he nodded and went completely downstairs with me.
That was when I looked at the clock.
damn it was 11pm already, how fast the time flies, it's a little disappointing though because I wanted to stay a little longer. Oh well, I hope to see him again soon.
"We have to go, Xiao" my father said while he was getting up from his seat before walking towards Aether and me. It made me wonder what he was going to do so I watched my father's moves closely and felt a little jealous as I've seen him hugging and patting Aether. I couldn't help myself but to hug him tightly, not wanting to go back now.
