To the one who has captured my heart,

Today felt like a good day to take you somewhere

So, I did

I woke you up

Made you breakfast in bed

Gave you hugs and kisses

You asked if you can borrow my hoodie paired for your outfit of the day

Since you said you like my scent in it

And that it makes you feel safe knowing that I wore it

Well, how could I say no to you?

We got into the car and I drove somewhere

Remember when I proposed to you?

That was one of the memorable moments I'll never forget

And something tells me that this place where I'm taking you to

Will make you change the way you see

Quite literally

I bought you something a few days ago

Yes, it was kind of expensive

But I almost cried when the box of colorblind glasses got here

Just the thought of you wearing it to see colors made me really happy

But I have to hide that for now

And the glasses behind the driver's seat

You asked if you could play music to lighten up the car ride

I said yes, of course

You plugged it in the aux cord and started playing a random song from your phone

I did saw and recognize the song

Before turning my head away because I needed to focus my eyes on the road

You started singing the lyrics out loud

And all I could do was smile from beside you

Has anyone ever said how good of a singer you are?

If not, then I'm the first person to take acknowledge of that of you

Song after song

I also started singing with you

With you trying to be better by singing the high notes

But you failed miserably with a voice crack

And I wheezed at you

But I did apologize

And you were gladly fine with it

When we were almost there

I gave you a blindfold

You asked me what's it for

But I only told you it's a secret

I led you out of the car

Trying to make sure you don't peek

You kept asking me where we are and why it was a bit windy

But I only kept quiet and guided you to walking carefully

Making sure you don't trip over

When I let go of you so I can take the glasses from my pocket

You got a bit worried

And you immediately took your blindfold off

But I was able to hold the glasses correctly on time to put it over your eyes

Before your sight was met with a flower field

I remembered how you were so shocked

That you turned around and didn't hesitate to hug me that I almost lost my balance

But I didn't mind that

You kept the glasses on

While we sat on the blanket I placed on the ground

I may not see your eyes from the dark lens

But I do know that those are admiring something beautiful from afar

That's when I saw your face changing to bewilderment

You pointed at something

And I didn't even get to see it completely before you stood up and happily chased after it

It was a butterfly

I would have done the same because I like seeing butterflies, too

But I would rather just sit down

And stare at you chasing it instead

You are more beautiful to look at than any other sight

Stunning, lovely, attractive, pretty

And most importantly, an absolute beauty

When you ran back to me

Because the butterfly already flew away

You kept thanking me for the glasses I got you

And if there was any way you could repay me back

But I told you that you didn't have to

All that was important for me was to see you happy

But you said you wanted to see me happy, too

I am already happy

With you beside me

While making memories

I swear, that's more than enough
