CHARACTER AND BACKSTORY DETAILS-
Aries is the first guardian of the Zodiac. He is from a ram father and a siren mother. Aries is a hot tempered and hot blooded teenager at the beginning of the Guardians of the Zodiac, he is someone who doesn't tolerate any bullshit and thinks very highly of himself. He has the power of fire and seduction. He is also a womanizer like his father Aruarus and seduces many women. Aries has a twin brother Aquarius and always sees his brother as a competition. As a child his mother took Aquarius with her to her tribe and raised Aquarius, leaving Aries thinking he wasn't good enough for his mother. Under Aruarus's care Aries was brought up ruthlessly, getting beaten up if he ever did something wrong. Aries is in love with Messa, who is in truth sent by the oracle to kill the young prince. Upon discovering the truth Aries imprisons Messa. During the crisis when he learns his kingdom is in danger from the Spaced Invaders, the future king puts his differences aside and along with his brother Aquarius and his best friend Libra he gathers all the Guardians of the Zodiac and prepares for battle. But before the long battle our Guardians must go to Earth and awaken the one missing Guardian, Virgo. In Earth they encounter many obstacles and hardships and through all of this, we witness how this once arrogant boy becomes a legendary Elder and future king, his friendship with his Guardians and mercy on Gemini and Leo becomes legend and eventually he also forgives Messa and they get married and he fathers the future Luminary Guardian of Aries, Ash. He also adopts a daughter. Elder Aries is also the grandfather of third generation of Aries guardian, Axel who is his grandson. Aries also has a son from a woman in the giant tribe and his name is Alpha. In the last battle in Luminous, Aries and the Elder Guardians of the Zodiac decide to sacrifice themselves to save their children from Cepheus and his undead army. It is later seen Aries being reborn as a teenager on Earth and we learn, it will take them many lifetimes until they remember who they truly were. Elder Aries is a legend, main character and a strong support. He is the definition of being a hot headed hero who has no plans and yet always dives into any danger to save his friends and family, he is an honorable and noble character but can sometimes be too stubborn...
