CHARACTER AND BACKSTORY DETAILS- Elder Gemini is from the Gemini and Phoenix tribe. Elder Gemini is the most cunning, trickiest Guardian. He always hated having the power of Gemini that could clone the powers of others, and when Gemini evolves he can make a clone army of himself and experience everything his clones see and feel. The Gemini tribe is entrusted with the dagger of the phoenix, the dagger grants temporary immortality to the Guardians to aid them in the last battle, or it can kill a Guardian. Gemini always wanted to use the dagger on himself because of the name calling and the bullying he endured. But as he grows up and becomes friends with the Guardians he realizes that he must fulfill his purpose. In the first chapter of the Guardians of the Zodiac he accidently strikes Capricorn with the dagger killing her. Capricorn's death is severe blow to Gemini because up to that point no one really knew that Gemini genuinely cared for his arranged fiancée. When the Guardians travel to Earth, Gemini stays behind and tricks the Spaced Invaders into thinking he has betrayed the Guardians. The Invaders take Gemini to their kingdom where Gemini kills their king and queen and successfully gathers allies and frees Pisces and Cancer's mother, and their mentor Dragon Drako. When the final battle is won, Gemini is labeled as a traitor for abandoning the Guardians, but King Aries doesn't kill Gemini, instead he exiles Gemini and banishes him for ever returning to Eleftheria. In Luminous, Gemini adopts Luminary Warrior Azaleah, Guardian of Aquarius, and trains her for her destiny, he is also communicating with all of the Guardians and doing spy work to help Aries. In Luminous Gemini confesses his feelings for Capricorn and masters the courage to ask her for her hand, but Capricorn turns Gemini down, because she is in love with Elder Pisces. In the last battle of Luminous, Gemini is assigned to a mission by his king. He is assigned to tricking the Luminary warriors into thinking the Guardians have died and he must hide in Luminous until his kins return and awaken. When the Guardians of the Zodiac are reborn on planet Earth and have forgotten who they are, Vishnu convinces the council of order to give them a second chance and sees Gemini and Auriga as the best candidates to go to Earth and awaken the elder Guardians. Gemini and Pisces do not get along, but they are kins at the end. Gemini is a main character, strong support and magnificent key role.
