Chapter Thirteen: Trouble in Seattle

I really though that I haven't been giving Lexie and Seth some time together. And trust me I slapped myself for it. I'm sorry guys! But yeah, I was really excited about writing this chapter! Hope you enjoy :)

"Please tell me you two are going." I pleaded Edward as we walked through the halls with Bella beside him. Bella gave out a little laugh, although I was serious.

"Yes, Alice and I are going." He smiled. "Besides, we can't just let you go there by yourself considering the danger in Seattle."

He had to bring that up. I've been feeling anxious the past two days and tomorrow was the trip! Being me, I was supposed to enjoy going on trips like these but now I don't. I don't know what is better; to not know about their existence, just to be eaten without having an idea. Or knowing and being cautios.

I'll go with cautious.

As I made my way to gym class, I couldn't help but spot the bulletin board on the far left corner of the hallway. Everyone else had gone to their classes, and I had to get something from my locker. So I am a bit late.

Missing: Riley Biers

A picture of a male, caucasian with sandy brown hair was on the picture. He doesn't look older than thirty years of age. Poor guy, and it said he was from Forks aswell. And I though people only dissappear in Seattle.

Later on that day, another normal thing was going on in Sam's house with all the guys from the pack, including Leah hanged out and Seth, being on patrol last night was fast asleep on the couch. I didn't want to wake him up. Catherine wanted to invite herself over to try and get Jacob. Ha! No way. I need to ask him if he's interested. I see Jacob with his shirt on, eating some chicken legs.

"Ah, Jake just the person I wanted to talk to!" I grabbed his arm, attempting to pull him away from everyone else. His mouth was still full of chicken he chewed on as he swallowed it.

I swallowed, trying not to laugh. "There's a girl, and she finds you hot."

He looked at me, smirking all of the sudden and and rubbed his nose. "Well, everyone finds me hot."

What an idiot.

"That's not the point!" I smacked his rock hard arm. "You interested?"

His smile vanished, like I've said something that really stung him. He sighed, shooking his head. "It's not that I'm not interested. I just don't want to be in a relationship because I might imprint on someone and I end up hurting the other."

"I understand." I smiled warmly at him. Atleast he was being honest with me, though I couldn't help but feel sorry for him because I know that he is inlove with Bella. And I know Bella loves him too, but she loves Edward more. That's why I just wish Jacob could just imprint on someone. Anyone.

"Oh yeah, Sam told me about your trip to Seattle tomorrow, be careful. You know what is out there." He turned around to sit on the couch but stopped again. "And you would want to say goodbye to Seth before you leave."

"I will." I ran upstairs, but only to be greeted by none other than Seth.

"You didn't tell me you were going on a trip! I could probably sneak into the bus" He laughed lifting me up and kissing me.

"Yeah right. In your dreams Sethy."

He stopped laughing, then started looking at me like I'm crazy. "Sethy?! No! Embry calls me that."
