Vandita's pov

I opened my eyes as I heard Ranvijay's scream , as my vision got clear , my eyes landed on him , he was sitting on the bed , his both arms resting on the headboard , his head taking the support of the headboard , his eyes closed , his forehead sweating badly , his chest moving up and down fastly and his breathing was uneven , I called him

" Ranvijay ? " He opened his eyes and looked at me , just as he saw me , he engulfed me in his arms , my eyebrows joined in confusion , I hugged him back , his grip tightened around me , I started caressing his back , his whole body was shivering , I got worried seeing him like that , I tightened the hug and he put his face in the crook of my neck , his breathing fast and steady , I kept caressing his back to comfort him , I tried to ask him again

" Ranvijay , What happened ? " I asked as I kept caressing him , his breaths fanning my neck fastly and in an uneven pace , after some time , he broke the hug

" That Same Nightmare , Vandita " He replied , my confusion grew more , I wiped off the sweat from his forehead and cupped his cheeks softly

" What Nightmare , Ranvijay ? " I asked him in a soft tone in order to not make him more terrified , for the first time , I saw him this much vulnerable , I caressed his face gently with my palm

" Vandita , I keep seeing the same Nightmare time to time , in every 8 to 9 days , I keep getting the same Dream and it's so scary , I keep getting the same dream more often now " He said trembling , I hugged him once again , I caressed his hair

" Don't worry , I'm here , sometimes , it happens , no need to get panicked , I'm right here by your side , alright ? " I asked him and he nodded , he hugged me again and tightened the hug , after some time , I broke the hug

" Would you mind if I ask you , what did you see in that Nightmare ? " I asked as I knew I should not pressure him in any way possible , he nodded , I smiled softly and kissed his forehead , he smiled lightly , his face got pale again when he started talking about his dream

" I am in a dark Jungle , Running , panting heavily , and I am with a Girl , I am holding her hand and we are running in that jungle , we are passing through big and giant trees , i look back and saw that girl , I'm assuring her that we are going to be safe , her face is blurred out , I can't see her face properly , and as we are running forward , suddenly , I felt a sharp pain on my head , I looked back and saw two men riding on their horses , one attacked me with a rod in his hand , I fell down , that girl starting screaming and crying seeing me , I assured her by smiling , she made my head lay down on her lap , her tears started falling seeing me but the next moment , they also attacked her , her head started bleeding , she fell on the ground , I screamed seeing her state but she still smiled at me , her head was bleeding badly and her clothes stained in the blood and after that I woke up " He stated and my eyes widened hearing him , I hugged him and caressed his head , I broke the hug and looked in his eyes

" Shhh , don't worry , I'm here , it was just a Nightmare , sometimes , we see the same Dream again and again , don't think too much about it , hmm ? " I said assuring him and he nodded

I looked towards the window and saw that the sun almost started rising

" Always Remember , the darkness always go away , the brightness always keep the darkness away just like the sun " I said smiling softly at him , he nodded and engulfed me in his arms , we both stayed like this in each other's arms for sometime and I broke the hug

" You are okay , right ? " I asked him as I wanted to assure myself that he was alright , he nodded , I pecked his forehead , he smiled looking at me

" Okay , Now I've to get Ready , Today is a very Important day , the guests must be on their way " I said and he nodded
