Ranvijay's pov

We reached the outer hills of the kingdom and began searching for him. My soldiers spread out, looking everywhere, while I searched with them. Suddenly, I heard some noises in the distance. I stopped, listening closely, and signaled my soldiers to follow me.

When we got closer, I saw him.

He was tied to a horse, unconscious, and in terrible condition. His clothes were torn, and his face was bruised. Seeing him like that broke my heart. This man, who had been like a father to me, looked so weak and helpless.

Anger boiled inside me. My hands clenched into fists as I stared at him lying there, treated so cruelly.

"Untie him!" I shouted, my voice sharp with rage. My soldiers rushed to free him, while I knelt down beside him, holding him carefully. I made a silent promise to myself.

"I'm gonna kill that fucking bastard" I murmured, anger burning inside me. I bent down, carefully helping him sit up. Grabbing my water pouch, I sprinkled some water on his face and brought it to his lips. He drank slowly, his breaths shallow and uneven.

After a while, his eyes fluttered open. The moment he saw me, his expression softened, and he pulled me into a hug. I wrapped my arms around him tightly, holding on as if to shield him from everything he had been through.

"Pitaji" I murmured as I noticed his breaths becoming uneven. Panic surged through me as I looked at him, his face pale and strained. I held him gently, trying to meet his eyes.

"Pitaji, where he went?" I asked, my voice barely above a whisper.

"Ranvijay" I heard his voice, weak and tired, barely more than a whisper. The sound of it shattered my heart into a thousand pieces. I could feel the weight of his pain, and it made me feel horrible, helpless, and furious all at once.

"He's a devil, he can't be trusted at all" he said softly, his voice filled with worry. I looked at him and placed my hand on his, gently caressing it.

"Aap chinta mat keejiye. Hume kuch nahi hoga" I said reassuringly. "Lekin agar abhi kuch nahi kiya, toh yeh sab hota rahega... Aur ek baat aur, jo hume aapko batani hai..." I hesitated for a moment from nervousness, then continued, "Aap nana sa banne wale hain. Vandita maa banne wali hain, Pitaji."     (Please don't worry. Nothing will happen to me, But if we don't do something now, this will keep happening... And there's one more thing I need to tell you...You're going to be a grandfather. Vandita is going to be a mother, Pitaji)

As soon as I said it, his eyes widened in surprise, and then he pulled me into a tight hug. I felt him trembling as he sobbed, his emotions overflowing. My heart softened, and I gently stroked his back to comfort him.
