Vandita's pov

Next Morning :

I woke up , and didn't feel my husband's presence like usual , That's when I noticed the empty space beside me where Ranvijay usually sleeps . he was not there to embrace me in this cold chilly weather , I was laying on the bed alone , My heart started beating Insanely fast as I sat on the bed and observed everything around me

The silence was deafening as I searched for any signs of my husband's whereabouts . The boudoir was quiet , except for the chirping of the birds . I looked around , taking in the familiar surroundings . I felt a wave of despair wash over me as I realized the enormity of what had happened . My husband , my rock , was gone . And I had no idea where he could be . His side of the bed was empty except for a crumpled pillow that bore the imprint of his head . I could feel my heart pounding in my chest as I got out of bed and walked to the window. The sun was just beginning to rise , casting a golden glow over the kingdom below

I tried to calm myself , reminding myself that my Ranvijay was probably just practicing or having a walk in the garden . But the unease in my gut persisted and I couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong . My heart sank as I saw a letter , resting beside the pillow ,
my anxiety grew. I don't know why I suddenly started having bad thoughts but I was not feeling good , I took a deep breath and opened the letter , As I started reading it , my heart felt at ease , Ranvijay wrote that he'll be back by evening and wishes to taste the food made by me , that too with my hands . My face turned red as the blush appeared on my cheeks and my heart started throbbing faster

" Aap hume bata bhi to sakte the , Ranvijay . Ab kaise hamara Mann lagega aapke Bina , shaam hone mein abhi bohot samay hai , jaldi aaiye , aapki Vandita aapke Bina nahi reh sakti hai " ( you could've told me , How am I going to spend my whole day without you , I'm already missing you badly , just come fast , Ranvijay , your Vandita can't stay away from you for too long ) I murmured under my breath as I kissed the letter and read it multiple times , smiling cheekily and Imagining the scenarios in my head when I will feed him with my own hands

After Some time

I was wandering in the palace that's when Devar sa came and greeted me .

" Pranam Bhabhisa " He said

" Pranam , Devar sa " I replied

" Bhabhisa , Aapne Bhai sa ko dekha hai ? Hume dikhe nahi hain wo subah
se " ( Bhabhisa , have you seen bhaisa , I've not seen him since this morning ) devar sa stated as I could sense the worry on his face . I nodded and smiled a little

" Aapke Bhai sa kahin Bahar gaye hain , ab ye to Bata kar nahi gaye ki kahan jaa rahe hain par hume ye pata hai ki wo shaam se pehle aa jaayenge " ( Your brother has gone somewhere , I don't know where but he told me that he'll be back by this evening ) As I finished my sentence , devar sa nodded his head and smiled at me

" Looks like I've to practice all by myself today " Devar sa stated with a mischievous grin and I chuckled

" Ji , Aisa bilkul nahi hoga , aap chaliye , hum chaudhary ji ko bhejte hain , aaj wo aapke saath abhyaas karenge " ( No , not at all , You go , I'll send chaudhary ji to accompany you ) I completed my sentenced and his face saddened . I laughed a little seeing his childish behavior

" Bhabhisa , Aap bhi Bhai sa ki tarah kar rahi hain " ( Bhabhisa , you're also behaving like bhaisa ) He replied and I chuckled
