Part 22 ~ Beginning of a New path

Abhimanyu's pov

I ran towards the Gharana, my heart swelling with pride. I felt immense joy knowing that Bhabhisa was going to become the Queen of Neergarh. It was such a heartwarming announcement.

As I entered the Gharana, I saw Bhabhisa seated on a chair, adorned in the most beautiful jewelry and a gorgeous lehenga. She looked stunning and regal. I couldn't help but feel delighted and proud of her. The women were chatting amongst themselves in a positive environment, despite the chaos. As I entered, all eyes were on me. Everyone stood up from their chairs; the younger ones bowed to me, and the older ones greeted me with smiles. I moved forward, greeted by my Maa sa and Bhabhisa. I bowed to all the women present in the Gharana and took my mother and sister-in-law's blessings with a bright smile. They both blessed me, and my eyes fell on Bhabhisa's face.

She greeted me with a warm smile and beckoned me closer. I could feel the love and warmth radiating from her. As I moved closer, she patted my head softly, making me smile wider than before. Everyone smiled brightly, witnessing the beautiful bond between us.

"Bhabhisa, Maa sa, I have something very important to announce," I said excitedly, as they both chuckled at my enthusiasm.They exchanged smiley yet confused looks before turning their attention back to me. They nodded, and I continued."Swagat hai, Neergarh ki nayi Ranisa ka!" (Let's all welcome the new sovereign of Neergarh!) I announced, pointing towards Bhabhisa. Her face showed no emotion at first, or perhaps just confusion.Everyone started murmuring, confusion lingering on their faces."Bhabhisa, aap Neergarh ki Rani ki upaadhi ke liye niyukt ki gayi hain." (Bhabhisa, you have been selected for the position of the Queen of Neergarh.) As I announced this, everyone started clapping and smiling brightly. My eyes went to Bhabhisa, and her eyes began to shine with pride and joy.

"Kya a-ap sach keh rahe hain, devarsa?" (You're not kidding, right, devarsa?) she asked, her eyes filling with tears. My heart ached seeing her get teary. She looked at Maa sa and engulfed her in a warm hug. Maa sa was so happy, holding her daughter-in-law securely and tightly. Bhabhisa's mother, along with her Dadisa, kakisa, and her sister Radhika, also embraced her.After a while, they broke the hug and wiped each other's tears. Everyone came closer to her, offering their congratulations. Maa sa came to me and hugged me too. After we broke the hug, Maa sa looked at me for confirmation.

"Abhimanyu, aap koi shararat to nahi kar rahe hain na?" (Abhimanyu, you're not playing a prank, right?) She asked, fully aware of my personality, but I shook my head in denial.

"Nahi, Maa sa, hum sach keh rahe hain. Pitaji, Bhaisa aur Bhabhisa ke pitaji ne milkar yeh faisla sunaya hai sabha mein. Bhabhisa ko Neergarh ki rajgaddi pe baithkar uski seva karne ka mauka prapt hua hai." (No, Maa sa, I'm telling the truth. Pitaji, Bhaisa, and Bhabhisa's father discussed it in the Sabha. Bhabhisa has been given the opportunity to serve as the queen of Neergarh.) I clarified. Her face brightened, and she ruffled my hair.

"Mahari bahu, Neergarh ki hone wali Ranisa, utsav manao!" (Our daughter-in-law, the future queen of Neergarh, let's celebrate!) Maa sa announced loudly, her voice echoing and instantly giving me goosebumps.

Everyone started swaying to the beats of drums, nagade, and dhol. I approached Maa sa and informed her to come with me so we could discuss the further process. She nodded and exited the Gharana with me, along with Bhabhisa, the guests, and attendees following us. A soldier informed Pitaji, and we entered the assembly hall. Upon entering, all the members present in the hall welcomed us with sweet smiles on their faces. We moved ahead, and Bhabhisa came forward to touch Pitaji's feet for blessings. He blessed her with great health and wealth.
