Ch.2

It was nightfall and everyone was out side laughing while I had been in my room all day. sam had come in even after I had yelled at her and we had played a wicked session of video games that ended with the finale score being 10 to 22 with me winning the whole thing. she laughed and swore revenge on me when she got the next chance. it wasn't long tell I heard a knocking on my door and I said nothing.

"Taylor can I come in ?" asked uncle leo and I still said nothing because I really had no choice he was going to come in any way

"I guess you can." I said and he came in sitting down on my bed

"Hey, look...... you know raph means well right, we all do." he said stroking my hair like he always does when he tries to calm me down and all I wanted to do was punch a wall

"Look," I said sitting up " you think that I'm mad because I got yelled at by raph but your wrong okay. I'm not mad because of some stupid blow up, because I have been yelled out a thousand times before. i'm mad because everyone here knows one big secret that no one wants to even tell me. not to mention that I'm the only human of the bunch of us and no matter how hard I try I can't seem to get the right fit in this family." I said holding back the tears

"I know but you have to understand that no matter what we do the things we do because we love you." he said and I nodded

"I know you do but I want answers, I want to know, Im tired of being different and I hate the fact that i'll never be the same as you guys you know." I said and he looked at me with those deep understanding eyes

"you're Mikey's kid alright you know just what heart strings to pull to make me melt and you know what your right, but you also fail to see that you may be different but that is what makes you unique to this family. with out you here this family would crumble and fall apart." he said

"Hey Leo we're going on patrol you coming?" asked raph at my door

"Yeah give me a second please." leo said and uncle Raph came in

"Well kid nice to know your alive." he said

"Nice to know your still sarcastic and rude." I said and he just looked at me with anger in his eyes but Leo gave him the you better not yell at her glare and he backed off

" See you later Tay." Leo said getting up and walking out and uncle raph started to follow but I stopped him and gave him a giant hug

"Be careful okay, don't get hurt because I couldn't stand if you did." I said and he just looked at me with an odd expression

'I wont get hurt too bad kid. i love you just know that I always will love you." he said hugging me back

little did I know that those were the last words I would ever hear from him for a long time.
