"so your father and mother knew my dad?" Cody asked surprised

"well, yeah they were best friends and pals utile one day when they suddenly stop talking to them. I never was told what went down but they never talk to me any way." I said as I winced rolling ovr in pain

"well my father and mother were great people but they died in a fight with shredder and his crew of dead beat dirt bags. it was hard for me to take in because I never thought that they would be los in such a way that I personally now never know them. you however don't know what that's like so I wouldn't expect you to understand." He said snarky at the end and I chuckled

Cody Jones, Casey and April Jones son has a personality like my Uncle Raph and that's saying a lot especially because I don't like Raph all that much. Cody had a way of making a person feel the awkward radiate off the room and into a puddle. it was like he was trying to keep his tuff boy style up and not break down the wall of emotion he had behind those green eyes of his. He doesn't look like much from what I can tell by my first glance at the guy and he has a bad vibe that radiates off him like milk that's gone chunky after you left in the pantry for a month. I will say this though Cody has one thing going for him and that is he under all the acting and snarky issues  he may have there is something else that I know makes him good. Everyone deserve a chance so why not give him one?

"I'm so sorry you had such a hard life but mine was worse so don't expect me to feel for you. oh and by the way I do know what not knowing my parents is like because I was adopted by a mutant turtle. me and my cousins all were and I may not have had the same issues you do, but i'm dealing with problems of my own. Like why shredder wanted me so bad that he sent his angry little goons after me so if you would be so kind as to not be a giant jerk that would be lovely ." I said just as sassy as he would have to me and this bought what I didn't expect to come across his face which was a simile

"well don't push your luck kid I might be the only person that is keeping you from getting crushed by shred head, so sassy meter needs to go down like five knotches okay? thanks sweet heart." he said and I rolled my eyes

"Look lets make a deal, you seem like a reasonable guy here so this is what i'll do, you help me to find out about my family past and why my father of all people doesn't tell me anything. in return I'll give you assist you in getting through your issues. deal?" I said staring straight at him in his beautiful eyes which amazed me

"Fine deal but no funny business okay?" he said crossing his arms and rolling his eyes and we shook hands

this was the start of something that would unearth my entire past.
