part two

The sun had set and after a dinner of stuffing themselves full of greasy food; the group had split up throughout the green court, informally, in smaller duos and simpler trios.

Marlene had met an Egyptian girl with a thick accent and buck teeth, who was very keen about Marlene's attire, wrapping her arms around the blonde's. The two had wandered off before dinner.

Lily and James had walked by a stand asking for volunteers to paint kids' faces earlier in the day; and the teens, who loved kids, had eaten quickly before practically skipping to help.

Mary and Alice had chosen to ride the Ferris Wheel and were stuck in the long wrapped around line. Sirius and Frank had dared Peter to see how fast he could eat a full box of Bertie Bott's Beans right after dinner. Safe to say the food had come back up, so the three and made their way back to the tent. Leaving Remus and Ana alone.

Frank had demanded Remus not come to help the sick Peter and stay with Ana, as she had been buzzing to play the concession games all day.

Remus and Ana had gotten through the floating fizzy ring toss they both failed at; Traditional wooden milk toss game, Remus had won a Diricrawl stuffy that Ana had pointed out.

Now they were at the Billy wig shooting game. Ana was on her second round, trying to beat her score of eight. Remus stood watching next to the older booth owner, who was working on painting more basswood creatures.

"Your doll is a keeper don't lose her." The old lady smirked at Remus, taking mention of the dulcet shooter.

Remus fell over his words, taking his eyes off of Anastasia, caught off guard to the booth owner's use of descriptor to call Ana. "What? Yes, she's very pretty but she's-"

"Oh, no need to worry, miss, this big hunk is my husband." Anastasia had made her way over, sliding the toy gun down the counter in front of the owner. Remus snapped his head down to Ana, asking for attention to explain her statement, but Ana starred on.

The old lady's eyes grew wide. Remus and Ana didn't look old for their age, perfectly sixteen. "Oh my! So young!"

"Well, yes, we figured we had to get married before Lupin junior gets here." Ana grabbed Remus's left hand, sneaking it around her back to lie over her flat stomach.

"OH My!" The traditionalist was appalled at the smiling Ana's statements of shotgun wedlock.

"Twelve." Ana stated, unbothered.
