Finally You See Me - Jegulus

change of plans

Regulus:

"What am I gonna wear? And why for Merlin's sake didn't I try to find an outfit yesterday? I mean this is So last minute I... I can't. I can't go. We have to cancel. Pandora you have to go to the Gryffindors and you have to tell James that I am canceling the date."

"Whoa Regulus calm down." Pandora said, looking at her friend with an amused expression. "We will find something. And you still have time."

"But how?!" Regulus asked. He should've thought about this yesterday, but James and him were on the astrology tower until 11 pm, so he didn't have much time.

"First," Pandora started, giving him a reassuring smile. "You take a deep breath." Regulus did that. "And now you tell me what you two will do."

"We are doing a picnic at the lake, with a 'special surprise'... What ever that means." Regulus said. He had decided to sit down next to Pandora.

"Okay. So it's a little bit cold to go swimming, so I don't think you have to include anything for that. How about...  A black long sleeve shirt with a wool collar. That is elegant and suits you. Then to bring a bit of lighter shades into it you could wear brown pants. I always think more earthy tones fit for picnic's." Pandora said, slowly placing her hand on Regulus's shoulder to comfort him.

After a slight shudder caused by the touch, Regulus looked at her and said: "Well I guess you would know the best. You basically dress like a fairy."

"Well I can give you clothes to look more like a fairy if you would want that. But I tried suggesting more in you style." Pandora said. "if you want to go for fairy tho, I would advise you to wear brown trousers, a white button up, a green crochet corsage and black or brown boots."

Regulus thought about that for a second, he had thought about trying Pandoras style for a little while now and decided that he was ready to try now. "Yeah let's go with that." He said smiling.

"Okay! I will be right back with the corsage. Find boots, brown trousers and a button up." Pandora was obviously exided.

As she exited the room Regulus got up to get the clothing together, he was starting to wonder, whether this was a good idea or not. Maybe the second date with the boy you have crushed on since forever, wasn't the best time to try something new. However it would be mean to just say no now. So Regulus quickly put on the required clothing and then went to the bathroom to do his hair.

Two minutes later Pandora, who was completely out of breath came crashing back into the dorm. She held up the corsage and grey glitter, looked at Regulus and then said: "Oh Regulus. Of course you don't button up every button let me help you."

Regulus was very confused but let Pandora do her work. She ended up unbuttoning the first two buttons of the button up and helped Regulus with the corsage, which was a beautiful Crochet job of her, she then told him to go to the bathroom where he was supposed to cover the bottom half with his pants. When he came back out of the bathroom, she told him to sit down.

He did but when she held a make up brush and the grey glitter up, Regulus looked at her sceptical. "What are you doing with that glitter?"

"Oh I was thinking I could put some near your crease, sorry if that was too fast forward." Pandora answered looking unsure.

"It's... it's fine. Do it." Regulus answered. He was doing this now anyway. Pandora smiled brightly and quickly started.
