nineteen.

Aurora and Jameer were finally alone after Angela and Chasity left. Jameer finally agreed to pay Chasity to get rid of the sex tape and to not go to any tabloids about his relationship. Aurora knew this wasn't going to be enough to keep her away so she was just bracing herself for when shit hit the storm.

Aurora had took her shower and was now looking to just go to bed. The mood she was in when she first got here was immediately soured and vanished when she saw Chasity. She got through the conversation without making any more snide remarks but Chasity threw them out every chance she could get. It was harder than Aurora thought it would be.

"Ro." Jameer announced as he walked back in the room from locking up his house. Aurora looked past her phone and raised her eyebrows at him in response.

"Talk to me." he said, walking over to the bed and pulling his shirt off before climbing in next to her.

"Jameer, I'm not mad at you if that's what you're thinking. Just aggravated because of Chasity. I was in such a good mood when I got here." she said, putting her phone on his bedside table.

"I could tell you were. I'm sorry you had to go through that. I don't wanna put my drama onto you like that." he said.

"Don't even apologize. Anything to make you happy and stress free. Let's just hope that's the last we have to see of her." she softly smiled, turning to face him.

Jameer stared at her for a moment before bringing her face closer to his and softly kissing her. Aurora felt her body completely give in to his touch and lifted her hand to rest on his shirtless waist. Jameer took his precious time kissing her, wanting to convey his true feelings through this kiss.

He softly tugged on her bottom lip before bringing it into his mouth and lightly sucking on it. He pulled back and stared down at his girl in adoration. Aurora returned his eye contact with the thoughts of her conversation with Summer on repeat in her head. Did this man really love her?

"I hope you know how much I appreciate everything you are to me." he whispered. Aurora could feel the goosebumps on her skin at his confession and felt her cheeks get incredibly warm.

"I do." she said, wrapping her arm around his abdomen and pulling herself flush against his skin. Jameer looked down at her with the same look in his eyes that had been there for weeks and left a kiss on her forehead.

Aurora could feel how fast his heart was beating as she leaned on his chest. Was he nervous? So many thoughts were running through her mind but the one thing they all had in common was: Jameer.

"Can I please get some of you in the morning? I was so excited last night." he begged. Aurora laughed at this while nodding her head.

"Anyway, how was your dinner? You looked sexy in that gray Polo shirt." she said.

"Hm, so I think that was a yes. The dinner was chill. I got some leftovers for you to eat tomorrow. How was the club, little miss shake my ass?" he asked, softly pinching her thigh that laid across his own.

"It was fun. I haven't been to a club in years but Summer and her friends got me to have so much fun. Summer cannot control her liquor though. Wasn't my outfit cute though, babe?" she asked, pulling her head back to look at him.

"It was. I was thinking about how I needed to take you out more. I feel bad I haven't taken you on that many dates since we've been together. I just don't want to chance us being seen together." he sighed.

Jameer wanted to go out with Aurora for dinner or on a day date but they just couldn't risk it. For now, they'd have to settle with dates at his or her home. Aurora didn't mind at all, though. She loved simply being in his presence no matter what they were doing.
