To clear something up
This rant isn't about the story. But instead, the fandom. Specifically, the fanfiction community.
I can't speak on the general fandom, because I don't care nor participate in fandoms. Because I know its probably just a shit show.
Now, I was looking for stories on fanfiction.net. Specifically, seven deadly sins stories.
Melizabeth.
Let me state my opinion.
I do not care for Elizabeth.
She is mid. Mid as fuck. She's a well written character, yes. Is she attractive? 5/10.
Meh.
And it infuriated me. Like bro, Diane isn't much better. Hotter than Elizabeth, yes. But that's only a 6/10 or a 7/10.
I said this the last time, but my favourite is Melascula. Leotards are nice, couple that with the pink thigh-highs, nice.
And yet, among over one thousand stories.
Three.
You shitting me? Hell, i saw barely any derieri either.
It's either Melizabeth, Estarosa and Elizabeth or Zeldris and Gelda.
Or Mpreg.
Sadly I saw quite a few.
I get that they are two main characters, yes. It's a cute premise, your clichéd star crossed lovers story. But there is such a thing as oversaturation.
My top three are as follows:
1: Melascula
2: Derieri
3: Jericho
All three of which are way better than Elizabeth or Diane, yet get not even a tenth of the representation.
It amazes me. Usually I try to keep these at least somewhat PG or avoid directly sexual topics. But my guy, 2 fucking pages on R34! Jericho has 2 pages.
Derieri has 3.
Melascula has 6.

Seven deadly sins is a well established series that's been known about and running for a long time. Yet theres so little of the good looking characters, and even then! It looks like shit!
I might just have high standards, but God fucking damn it, the quality is noticeably bad.
Anyway, just a slight issue.
