Still with Elrond

The entire city of Rivendell had been searched but there had been no sighting of Y/n anywhere. No one had seen her either,the last person to actually see her was Lunna and that was several hours ago. I had gone from concerned to very worried as time went on,and no news came to me. Eventually I arrived back at my study but it is still empty,I stood alone in the empty corridor thinking
"Where is Y/n,had something happened to her?" After several moments more people arrived,my daughter Arwen,Lunna and Lindir.

The three of them joined me outside my study,they all said the same thing. No sing of Y/n any where
"Have the grounds been properly checked?" I asked Lindir
"Yes my lord,several times by myself" Lindir told me
"What about just beyond Rivendell's border?"Arwen asked
"I don't think so,as Y/n doesn't really no the surrounding land well" I said
"Lord Elrond I have suggestion" Lunna said speaking for the first time"it is a far fetched one though"

"At this point nothing is too far fetched" I say" Tell me your suggestion Lunna"
"Do you remember not to long ago,a woman came here saying someone had sent her to see if Y/n is here?" Lunna began
"Yes a woman by the name of Meadow,I remember why" I said
" Well what if the person that had sent Meadow, didn't like the answer that she was given and took action on it" Lunna said
"Are you saying someone kidnapped Y/n?" Linidr asked
"That is what I am saying" Lunna said.

I thought about what Lunna had just said,it did actually make a lot of sense. A mysterious person arrives here asking about Y/n,but refused to say who sent her and now Y/n is missing.
"But if that is true then how did they actually take her?" Arwen asked"Strangers in Rivendell is not going to go unnoticed"
"Unless they had someone on the inside" I said,this suggestion is becoming more and more likely to be the truth. Some how someone had gotten to a resident of Rivendell and got them inside without being seen,and then made off with Y/n.

"Linidr you and Lunna start asking people if they have seen anyone unknown to them around here recently,no matter how unsure they are the information could be vital" I say,the two elf's head off to start the inquiries
"Arewn you and I will go and find Gandalf,if anyone can help track down Y/n it will be him" I say to my daughter. We set off together to see if we could find the wizard,my mind a mess of different questions and possiblitys.

I saw Arwen glance at me ever so often,I know she wants to reassure me that Y/n will be fine,but until I can get her back I won't be able to relax. With my wife long dead and our children grown and left home,y/n is the only one I have left. I hadn't even expected to find romance again so late in life,and I will be damn certain that I won't let them keep Y/n from me. Who ever has her will not get away with this,there will be consequences. We arrived at the place where Gandalf is staying,I knocked on the door.

"Enter" the wise voice from inside called,I open the door and followed Arwen inside the room" To what do I owe the pleasure of this visit?" Gandalf asked. He is sat by the open window smoking his pipe
"Y/n is missing" I said getting right to the point
"I thought something was amiss,with all the activities down below" Gandalf said"What do you wish me to do Lord Elrond?"
"I would like you to help search for her outside of Rivendell" I tell him
"I will start straight away" Gandalf said getting to his feet,he made his way to the door"Try not to worry to much my friend,we both know Y/n is capable of taking care of herself"
