It's a very nice song by Ado, in fact the most positive one I've heard in a while.

But being the murderous writer I am, what am I gonna do?

"Well, you like it, so why not say it?"

You've been around me for some time already.

"I... well..."

You hold up a sunflower in my face.

"Isn't it pretty?" You smile.

And I can't help but notice, your blonde hair, the cheerful, unwavering smile, and swaying blue-greenish skirt, resembles the flower all too much.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The sun shines brightly.

Well, a little too brightly.

"..."

I wipe the tears away.

Who would cry on a sunny day like this?

And besides, I... have to let go.

It's the only way I'll be free.

But...

"I can't!"

"Hmm?"

A sunflower comes into my face.

"Hey, whatcha thinking about?"

"Oh... I see."

And you sit beside me, still holding onto the long sunflower stalk.

"Hey... how did you get here?" It seems impossible, still being so positive after that happens.

You still refuse to tell me.

But it's alright.

As long as you are by my side.

As long as we are together.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I look up to the sky.

But-

I can't take in the light.

"Well, let's go into the light together, shall we?"

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Where the light shines-

"Well, I hope to be myself even when I reach there," You swing your legs casually, answering without a moment's hesitation.

I lift up my brush, and add a spot of glitter to the flower I'd put on the canvas.

Even if the sun sets, this painting will still shine.

Just like you.
