There was a function at Saavi's house, for which whole Mishra family was going to come. And there have been preparations going on for the same since the morning.
currently saavi was in the gold shop to buy something for her mom in law and dad in law.
when she realised, she got scammed real hard.
" shit shit shit. where is the pendant?" saavi asked to herself
" no way. did i just get scammed?" saavi got tensed
she went into the shop again and asked " excuse me? i paid you the whole amount. there are only paper tissues in the box, where is the ring?"
" mam can you please show us your bill?" one of the employees asked
" what? bill? you said you will send it to me on my phone. i told you zillions time that i wanted a paper bill. you denied and now you're asking for the bill?" saavi said being furious
" mam, how can you expect us to believe in you?" the employee said
" check the cctvs, its not even been 5 minutes since i left" saavi said
" mam, scam costumers like you come visit our shops on daily basis. if we keep believing in you then we are going to be at loss" the employee said
" you need to give me the pendant that i paid 2 lakhs for" saavi yelled
" mam stop yelling. i might have to call the guards to take you out from here" the employee said
" fine, i'll leave and report a case on you fuckers" saavi yelled and left the shop
She had tears in her eyes, what is she going to say to her dad. he already doesnt like her, the mishras would be on their way also.
" i will go home and tell everybody the truth" saavi thought to herself but deep down she was scared

" you did what saavi?" saavis dad yelled
" i didnt do it purposely dad, i asked him to give me the bill. he talked to me so sweetly and told me he would send it to me on the phone, even after i denied it. he said i was his special costumer. obviously i didnt trust him, but he didnt give me the bill so i had to believe in him inorder to come home quickly" saavi said
" SAAVIII just shutup" her dad shouted
she flinched
the mishras entered the hall and saw all of this.
" namastey ji aayie" saavis mom greeted all of them nervously while the others kept looking at saavi and her dad
" saavi, are you a kid? are you illiterate or what? you are a fucking grown up adult. how can you believe in such damn scammers?" saavis dad shouted at her
saavi's eyes got teary as she was feeling embarrassed in front of the mishras. sids mom and dad wanted to interrupt and stop saavis dad from yelling at her but they didnt, thinking it was their family matter
" p-papa, i didnt believe in him at first, i had to do it in hurry" saavi cried
Siddharth got shocked seeing her cry, this was his first time he saw her cry like that. his hands clenched into fists, ready to kill anyone who made her cry.
" suniye, saavi ke papa rukiye. guest aaye hai ghapre scene mat kijiye" saavis mom whispered in her dads ears
" no. you wait today! all these years i did everything for this girl yet she acted like a brat infront of me. i tolerated everything thinking shes my daughter. but how can someone be so dumb to get scammed like this??" savis dad said looking at her with shame
