24. After wedding

Siddharth's Family, Siddharth nd Saavi came home. Did the rituals at home and everybody was freshing up now.

Saavi didnt want to talk to him but since she was new there, she had to talk
" Siddharth, where are the towels?" she asked hesitantly without looking at him

He picked up the towels and handed them to her

She went in and showered, got ready for bed

When she came out, she couldn't see Siddharth in the room so she called for him. she thought he left for his work but today she didn't want to be alone, not on the WEDDING night atleast

" Siddharth? Siddharth? where are you?" saavi called out for him

when he suddenly popped out of the cupboard,

" hmm?" Siddharth hummed looking at her

she sighed and shaked her head left to right.

" Bhai Bhabhi mom is calling you both for dinner" shreya said non interestedly

Saavi was so nervous to face the family members after the wedding. There are so many people, even Siddharth's grandmother, grandfather are there. his bua, chacha, chachi everyone is there
she wanted to escape from there at that point

She saw Siddharth going out, so she followed him too

She went out and saw so many new faces. Her heart was beating fast. She went out and stood beside Siddharth, smiling to everyone

" didn't your mom teach you?" Siddharth's bua said

Saavi looked at her confused

" To touch elders feet or do we have to teach you?" she said meanly

saavi quickly bent down and touched her feets and then his grandmother, grandfather, chacha, chachi and every elder present there.
In this case, even Siddharth can't say anything to his bua or anyone elder.

All of them sat on the dining table, eating their dinners. It was merely a family of 21 members, including the kids

" we have some rules that you need to follow in this house" his chachi said

Saavi looked up at her, waiting for her to continue

" Rule no. 1:- you will have to wake up in the morning and prepare breakfast for the whole family and then prepare tiffin for your husband.

Rule no.2:- Mishra Bahus are not allowed to do jobs, but since you're doing it. you need to come home by 6pm.

Rule no.3:- you won't sleep with your husband for a week after wedding, that is starting from today.

Rule no.4:- don't call your husband with his name. talk to him respectfully.

Rule no.5:- You won't go to meet your parents until you ask for permission 

that is all that i remember for now. I'll tell you other rules when i remember"

Saavi felt so weird about all the rules. firstly, she doesn't have the habit of waking up early but she can manage that, bcs she has got married now. secondly, it depends on her clients and patients. she doesnt do a 9 to5 job. how will she come home by 6?. thirdly, WHY WILL SHE NOT SLEEP WITH HER OWN HUSBAND? he is the only one she knows closely and is comfortable with. fourthly, she doesn't mind calling Siddharth respectfully and fifthly, will she ask for somebody's permission to go meet her parents?

All these questions rise up in her mind. but she shrugged it off

" also, there is a pooja tomorrow, for the betterment of your marriage and guests are going to come, so you will prepare the breakfast for the whole crowd so wake up early" his grandmother said
