chapter 2: first day....again (morning half)

I wake up with a sigh and a stretch cheking my battery "huh ok sleep mode does not cost much power." I stand up and leave my room opening the heavy latch on the back of my wall, preventing anyone from coming in and seeing mackenzie standing there. i wonder if i overslept "morning. I came to help you get set up before i go for the day." She looked exhausted. "Are you ok? What happened?" I ask concerned. She sighs. "It's just....ive been working 70 hours now....im just tired."You need sleep, mackenzie." I say sternly,"i-i know, but....i don't trust anyone else to do most of this stuff." She looks away and mumbkes something thing even i can't hear. "I noticed i have some interesting systems," i say to change the topic while making a note to figure out my hearing volume asap "yes you do. Your years can hear the softest of sounds, and your eyes can immediately notice inconsistencies in an area like your hidden room. Unlike roxy, you can not see through walls, however." I nod and leave the still closed attraction. "I think i can open today," i tell her. She smiles and nods. "Just be sure you eat."  I look at her confused. "You dont need it to function, but it will help your mental health. Anything you do it is converted into backup fuel, though, just in case your batter runs out or malfunctions, all of you have that feature." I nod and see the glamrocks walking over."we eat breakfast together every day, not that we need it, but we have been told it's a good mental health exercise." Freddy explains. We walk to El Chips, and roxy walks into the kitchen with chica. "Chica is the cook. Roxy just has a bit more speed cleaning the dishes, so roxy cleans them every morning, and Chica makes her breakfast a bit bigger." Monty smiles as eclipse floats over."Chica does get quite hungry at night, " the kindhearted voice comments "hello alice. I was worried about you. " Eclipse says without hesitation. "So you know too, huh?" My ears droop. "Yes. Freddy told me yesterday that while the kids were busy. We will figure it out." They say. "Nod as chica comes out with 4 plates and roxy with two. "Nothing to fancy just some nachos for freddy, a taco salad for monty, 4 tacos for roxy, a soday for eclipse, i remembered you dont like to eat until after your done cleaning," she said looking at the daycare attendent who gives a small bow of appreciation. "Taco pizza for me and 3 stuffed burrito supreme crunches for amelianna." i stare at my plate. "You....remembered my lunch order?" I say stunned. "Roxy did, actually." Chica corrected. "I know how much you love em but Taco Bell is so expensive. And since you work here and el chips isnt much different food style wise..." roxy explained i blush as i begin to eat, and holy shit it is WAAAAYYY better than taco hell. Chica smiles at my sounds of enjoyment. "You always complained how unhealthy they were but not this bird bwak!" She says, making the sound she makes when she's very excited. The morning was pretty uneventful until i opened my attraction, and everyone was absolutely clambering to get in one girl, actually pulling anothers hair to get in before her. "Hey!" I say sharply. And wade through the crowd, my attraction staying closed as i kneel down. "That's not ok. Everyone will get a turn, but you gotta be nice. You dont want to end up in my holding rooms for a time out, do you?" I ask, and she shakes her head, her mother watching me closely. "That's good. What's your name?" She looks at the floor "sally...." she says softly as my ears pick it up and her voice gets louder in my ear. "Well, sally. You're not in trouble. But if she had fallen over, she could have gotten seriously hurt. I know you're excited, but we all have to wait our turn, ok?" I give her a soft head pat with a smile as she looks at me. "You're not mad?" I shake my head. "No, now what do you say?" She apologizes, and her mother looks at me."She never listens to me..." she says with an appreciative look as i wade back and unlock the attraction, and everyone cheers. Everything continues running smoothly until i get an S.O.S alert from monty Golf, and i take off running, jumping on the wall and parkouring my way there as fast as i can through the tri-layer plaza to the maintenance tunnels where i can get there faster. I deftly avoid customers as i weave around and even swing off the lights to get there faster to see monty struggling to hold up the masive bucket at the head of his attraction while keeping one of the gondola rails intact that has a seat with a child precariously balancing. "Get the child!" He calls as i immediately make my way over to the kid "its ok. What's your name, little one? " i ask softly."Bill." He says. "Come here, Bill, i got you." He carefully crawls over. "Im losing my grip!" Monty warns. "Hang on, monty. i see what happened." I answer as i grab the rail with Bill on my back and grunt as i slam it together, making a very loud *KACHINK* "a clasp popped loose" as i maneuver down and head to the bucket setting bill down as i go. "On three monty. The rail knocked this out of its socket." He nods as i count to 3, and we heave with all our combined power my lombs straining to lift the insane amount of weight. "Can you hold it? I can lock it in, " monty says. i nod as i slide further under it and leverage it on my back and push with my legs and arms. "Ggggrrraaaahhh!!" I howl as i push up as hard as i can, lining up the end of the bucket with the rotating joint, allowing it to dump properly. Monty climbs up as fast as he can and begins jumping and kicking the buckets' side while holding the scaffolding until another loud locking sound is heard, and i relax to the soind of applause and cheers from the crowd who witnissed our emergency efforts. Monty gives me a high five. "One heck, of a first day, huh?" He says with a laughand i laugh back,"and it's not even lunch yet." I say jokingly
