Good old Fashioned Loverboy- QUEEN

It's been a week since you've gotten out of school. The school days were boring and long. However, today when I sat in math class and looked out the window as I zoned out, I noticed an oh so similar curly head of hair running up and down the football field. It was nine pm. I smiled as I watched you run up and down the field and did my work at the same time. As I did my work, you sent me a snap. It was of me sitting in class, confirming that I was right, it was you. I turned and waved as you smiled up at me through the window. As the hour passed on, you had eventually left and I was onto the next class.

"I thought you'd sleep in." I say as I walk out to my car to finally leave school.

"Had to stay productive." you shrugged through FaceTime.

We talked a bit more as I drove to the ninth grade center, waiting for my cousin and brother. Once I saw them make their way to the car, we said bye to each other and I hung up the phone. The rest of the day was boring. Hours and hours of homework. Sometime after five o'clock, I went to take a shower and you called right after, or so I thought. I picked up the phone expecting it'd be you, but instead it was Donnie and your brothers.

"Oh. Well, hello there." I greeted them as they popped up on my computer screen.

"Hi Athena!" They greeted me back.

"What'd y'all call for?"

"What? We can't call our bestest friend?" Ryan jokingly asked as Donnie and Andrew agreed with him.

"Of course y'all can, but why on Theos' phone?"

"Why not." Andrew shrugged as I laughed at their antics.

"Are you going to his graduation?"

"Of course, I am."

"Good. You are gonna drive with us." Donnie said with a nod as I smiled at them.

"Where is Theo?"

"He's in the shower. You know he left early this morning and he said he went to see you, but you were in school." Donnie says with confusion and a little suspicion in his voice.

"I saw him running around on the field this morning while I was in math class." I laughed as Donnie just nodded.

"You really are special." Andrew quietly murmured as we catched up with one another.

After a while, we could hear you asking around if anyone saw your phone. They scrambled around whatever room they were in, to make it seem like they were being normal and didn't have your phone as I tried to stay quiet.

"Have you guys seen my phone?" I hear you say as Donnie pushed your phone under a blanket.

"No..."

"Why are y'all acting so suspicious?"

"We're not." I hear Ryan say as some shuffling can be heard.

"Where is it?"

"We don't have it."

I could hear the four of you shuffling around as I looked at the dark screen. After a few minutes, you popped up on the screen a little confused.

"Who are y'all cal– Oh. Hey."

"Hi, Roos." I laughed.

"You guys are impossible. Call her on your phone or something."

"Where's the fun in that when we can just call, 'love', from your phone." Andrew poked before they ran off and you chased after them.

I laughed at the chaos from the screen. Sooner or later, you finally gave them a break and went to your room. We talked a little bit about everything and all the gossip that was still happening in school.

"What did they talk to you about?"

"We were just catching up. Scared they'll talk shit about you?" I joked as you shook your head.

"Yeah, they got a lot of blackmail on me."

"Mhmm...like what?"

"Like how I asked mom about how I should act when I'm around, so you wouldn't ghost me."

"I would never ghost you. How could I ghost Mr. QB1? You probably would ghost me though." I laughed as you chuckled along.

"Why would I? It's us forever and always, love. Forever and always will not expire."

"Forever and always, Theo."
