For the pas 2 months, Amaya and Chase
haven't seen each other or spoken.

On Amaya's behalf, it's been hard; her dad
died, which led her to an overdose, her dear
friend Mackenzie found her, as they were
having a sleepover.

On the other hand, Chase was has been
thriving in Italy; he's seen his old
friends, and lots of family and workers,
but something has been holding him back
from being happy, he didn't tell anyone,
but deep down inside, he knows he needs
Amaya.

CHASE
Oh, life in Italy, how I've missed it. It's great fun here, I get to see my other family members everyday, I get my work done quicker and easier here, and we get to eat actual Italian Food.

- Italian pizzas
- Italian pasta
- Italian lasagna
and the list goes on...

Now, for the unfortunate part, I have way more enemies in Italy. Luckily, none of them have the power that Ivanov has. And if they come threatening me all I have to say is "Oh spare me. You're no better than your old father".

And then they'll leave me alone, cause they know my family has one of the best reputations in Italy. And as I spent a majority of my childhood here, I was taught that the families of my enemies were monsters, and I still call them that to this day.

Im staying in a new home that I bought last year, and it's very very nice. My day goes something like this: Wake up super early (5am), get ready, drive for thirty minutes, arrive at mrs. Victoria Davian's home and eat breakfast an hour later(7am), chill, chill, chill, go out with friends or chill, go home.

But there's one thing that I can't let go of, and I think it's pretty obvious by now; Amaya.

I truly hope that she's okay.

"Chase!" Jack came rushing into my mother's house.
We were all here for lunch, but it's seemed like Jack had other plans.
"Bad news." he said. I gave him a little confused look, raising my one eyebrow.
"What?" I hesitated to ask, but what needed to be done needed to be done.

"Ivanov has sent his daughter to Europe. She's going to every single country 'till she finds us!" Jack yelled and swayed his arms around signaling that this is the kind of situation to stress in.

I got up from the seat and started approaching the kitchen counter which is were I had left my phone.
"Where is she now?" I asked and grabbed my phone.
"Estonia."

"What the hell is she doing there?" my mom yelled out to us.
"I don't know, mom."

I cleared my throat before I spoke; "Do we have men in Russia?"
Jack nodded in response, slowly, as if he wasn't sure wether it was a good idea to tell me the truth or not.
"Good. Send them to Ivanov's home, make sure they destroy the place inside and out."

"But Chase," Jack pleaded and walked to me "think about this!"
"My decision is final. Am I clear?" I asked. Jack groaned and sighed and rolled his eyes at my question.
"I said, Am I clear?" I asked, again.
"Yeah, whatever I guess.

Jack was right. I did need to think about this. I was about to start a war between us and Ivanov. But I didn't care.

How dare they think that they could destroy me?

Two days passed since I attacked Ivanov. And the days were quiet, too quiet. They went by without notice. I was starting to grow suspicious of what could possibly be going on, Natalia Ivanov had still not left Estonia, and Estonia is not a very big country, I mean with the amount of people she has working for her, she could probably search the whole country in a day.

I just stepped out of a warm shower as I tried to keep my head high, not to feel defeated.

Ivanov didn't win, not yet. And he won't, not ever.

I sat down on my bed, still wrapped in a towel at my waist, I grabbed my phone and stared at the time and date.
Friday, September 15th, 14:39 pm - Amaya probably had class right now. It would be a dumb I dea to call her at this time.

Or at any time, really.

14:40 , 14:41 , 14:42  , 14:43 - the time went by as I continuously stared at it. What was I waiting for? A call? I'd have to wait at least three hours to make sure that she had ended class.
But I was definitely not going to be the first to call.

Ugh, today was probably the worst day of all this time that I have been in Italy. I held onto my phone like my life depended on it, and kept looking at the screen for any missed calls.

"What the fuck are you doing to me, Amaya?" I asked myself on the actual burst of tears.

And just then, seconds before I was going to throw my phone across the room. It started ringing.
"Amaya" it read at the top of the screen and had a heart-eyed cat emoji right next to the name.

I still hadn't changed it.

I hesitated, and I don't know why, isn't this what I was longing for? Why am I all of the sudden scared?
I let those thoughts take over and replied.

"Hello?"
