yeah, he's actually the reason why i wanted to pick it up again
i tried teaching him but it went kind of poorly and i'm worried that i made it worse

have you spoken to him about it? how's he coming along?

well, he thinks he's good enough that he doesn't have to wear his helmet anymore
doesn't help that he thinks jay is the coolest person to ever walk this earth and jay hasn't worn a helmet since he was about 15
i just told him that jay's experienced but also a bit of an idiot and that's how he gets away with it
that got him to stop asking
