A mouse ran up the clock

A kitten ate a hawk

The dog then howled

My house befouled

By those who came to gawk

A rat ate all my food

He found it very good

He ate my spaghetti

And me being petty

I hit him with some wood!

A horse who loved to scat

A chicken in a hat

Went out on a date

But they had to wait

For the third wheel: the cat

I met a little snake

Who surely loved to bake

With no feet or hands

We abandoned our plans

To bake ourselves a cake...

Out there in the bog

I met a singing frog

With a skip and a hop

He took out a mop

To help me bathe the dog!

By October third

I met a big fat bird

I thought he could fly

But that was a lie

So now I'll spread the word!

My friend once knew a bunny

Whose jokes were never funny

He told me a pun

And I had to run

Before I kicked him in the tummy!

Once I met a lizard

Who claimed to be a wizard

In the middle of June

He drew out a rune

And then he made it blizzard!

I no longer have a house

Myself I must rehouse

I'm filling with stress

This place is a mess

I'll move in with the mouse...
