"CHUCK, CHUCK" I called out for the rad haired boy
"BAILEY HES OVER HERE" I heard someone call
I ran as fast as I could to where the person who called out to me was
"in there" the boys pointed I ran into the dead heads where everyone had pointed why is no one doing anything I wondered but I shook the thought away as I continued to run in and look for Chuck
"CHUCK" I called out as I saw the boys being attacked by not only one person but also a griever, I pulled out my knifes from my pockets
I pulled Ben off of Chuck and aw he was bleeding badly from the head, I then stated Ben in the thigh and punched in the pacemaking him black out cold, I then began to attack the griever, I saw it was missing a leg and I realised it was the one who stole my eye that night "ive been waiting for you bitch" I whispered as it came running towards me and jumped on me, it pinned he to the ground, and it began to try and sting me, I tried my best to fight back to not get stung, if I die then its going after Chuck I have to kill it, I was finally able to escape form its grip and stab it in the chest as I ripped it down making the griever screech in pain, I waisted no time as I quickly got up and picked up Chucks body as I ran out of the dead head, but just before I was out of reach I felt something sting into my back I yelled in pain "FUCK" but I had to keep going for Chuck "CLINT, JEFF" I screamed for the two as I ran out with Chuck the two said boys quickly ran over and grabbed Chuck from my arms
"don't let him die on me, please" I pleaded to the medjacks which they nodded ran to the med hut to help the red haired boy, I then ram back into the dead heads to get the other boy "BEN" I called out but I got no response I then saw him laying there unconscious but when I looked over the griever was no where to be seen
"come on" I said as I rapped Bens arm around me and pulled him along. After what felt like hours I finally made it back to all the other Gladers, it must've been night when I went it because it was night now and I was only there for about an hour and half "Bailey" I heard someone call out
"take him" I said to Minho which he did as he grabbed the boys arm and pulled it around his shoulder and pulled him to the med hut as I ran off in the same direction to make sure Chuck was okay.
I pushed the doors open, as I looked around for Chuck
"Chuck" I said as I ran to his bed side I was on my knees
"Bailey" I heard someone say from behind me, I saw Minho "what?" I said with grated teeth I still hadn't forgiven him since what he did to Georges grave
"hes gone" he said
"what?" I said begging to cry
"no, no hes not" I said "im sorry" he said as he walked out
"Bailey" I heard someone say I instantly recognised the voice to be Chucks
"im not dying am i?" the boys began to cry
"no, your gonna be okay" I said crying as I held onto his hand
"Bailey, I'm sorry I ruin everything, and you probably hate me now bu- I cut the boys off
"no, don't you shucking apologise to anyone, and you don't ruin everything, you make my life better, you my best friend, Chuck you're my brother. Its gonna be okay, Chuck i've got you" isa id hugging the boy him hugging back
