Vidia once thought the most exhilarating thing she'd ever do was perform, but she was wildly mistaken. The feeling of punching somebody with absolutely no consequences behind it was almost comparable. The club has done practically a full 360 since the last meeting, and it was absolutely thrilling.
Before she would just let her school day go by, keeping her earbuds in and just staring off into space, but now she was eager. Her leg would shake up and down for her entire sixth period with the excitement flowing through her veins.
Vidia didn't even care that the bruises she had wanted to fade before were now back in full force. It was different this time around, because she wanted these bruises. She wanted the bruises because they showed her how strong she could be.
Vidia knew it was corny, and stupid, but she'd never been the one that stood out. She was quite literally always just there. In her home, in her band, and even to herself. She'd never really seen any important reason for her to be such a staple in a group, but with these girls something felt different. She felt like they were all equal, all different pieces of a puzzle that stuck so well together it wouldn't fall apart if it was picked up off a table.
It did feel odd to think this way about girls who she had punched and kicked, but it's not like they were fighting because they were actually fighting. These girls had no reason to hate or hit one another besides actual care that they all stay safe. So, Vidia was more than just excited when she stepped into the circle to fight Stella-Rebecca.
