6. Wanda Sleeps Over At Peter's Apartment

Peter POV

May 21, 2025

It's been 2 weeks since I've seen Wanda.

I wonder how she is?

As Peter, I've been volunteering at F.E.A.S.T and doing my freelance job as a photographer.

As Spider-Man, it's just the same old thing, being blamed for "seemingly" being the cause of a crime.

Jameson really has it out for me. It's not a healthy way for him to live.

I recently went by to Peter Pan's and found MJ & Ned once again kissing.

I ordered a quick coffee and left without a second thought.

It does bother that they're dating now, but I choose this, so now, I'm gonna lice with the consequences of my actions.

It's already late, maybe around 10.

I'm going home after a slow day and I decide to grab some food.

As I'm walking, I see Wanda.

"Wanda, hey."

She turns around and smiles.

"Hi Peter. What are you doing here?"

"I was going home, but I decided to grab some food, and surprisingly, here you are."

She let's me catch up and we walk slowly together.

"How was your day?"

She asks.

"It was slow. How was yours?"

Wanda looks down.

"The same I guess. I haven't found a job."

"Yeah. I was on that boat a good while ago. I wouldn't give up though."

Wanda smiles.

"I've already been rejected a few times. They all know who I am and refuse to hire me."

"That's rough. Sorry about that."

"Don't be."

Narrator POV

Peter looks at the time on his phone and notices how late it is.

"It's pretty late. If you want to, you can sleep over at my place."

"I don't wanna be a bother."

"You won't be. You can have my bed & I'll take my couch."

Wanda smiles.

"Thank you Peter. You're the nicest person I've ever met."

Peter smiles.

"Thanks. You'll like my new apartment. I just moved into it a couple weeks ago. We're actully close by."

"Lead the way ."

Wanda follows Peter to his apartment & walks in.

"This is really good for a freelance photographer."

"I get paid really good for the events I'm hired for."

Wanda finds the bedroom next to the living room.

"Like I said, you can have the couch, I'll take my couch."

"There's enough room for us both."

"Well yes, but I think you like your privacy."

Wanda smiles.

"That is true, but I don't wanna take your whole bed, so your gonna sleep with me tonight. Unless your scared", Wanda says teasingly.

Peter smiles.

"Ok then, we'll share the bed, and I ain't scared."

Wanda finds the bathroom.

"I'm gonna change. Luckily I have some cloths in my bag."

"Go ahead. Take as long as you need."

Wanda goes in.

Peter eats his food.

After about 15 minutes, Wands comes out in a shirt & some shorts.

Peter can't help but look at Wanda. He admits she is very beautiful.

Peter hides a blush.

"I'll join you soon, it's my turn", says Peter, as he throws away his trash.

"Alright. Thanks again Peter. This is the nicest anybody has been to me since we both came back."

Peter smiles.

"I'm glad we met. I'm glad we're friends."

Wanda smiles.

"Me too Peter."

Peter smiles as he walks into the bathroom.

Wanda lays on one side of the bed and lays down.

15 Minutes Later

Peter walks put in shorts & a shirt, with socks on.

He goes to the bed and finds Wanda asleep.

'Even when sleeping, she's beautiful.'

Peter getsvthe side thats free and quickly falls asleep.

He didn't realize how tired he was. It has been a long day for them both.
