7. Wanda Has A Nightmare

Peter POV

I wake up as I hear a little sound. After a few seconds, I hear a whimper and realize it's coming from Wanda.

She must be having a bad dream.

"Wanda?"

Wanda just tosses around.

"Wanda? Hey."

She whimpers louder this time.

"Wanda? It's me Peter."

She wakes up in a frenzy.

"Jey, you ok?"

She looks at me.

"Peter? I- I w-was-"

I cut her off.

"You were having a bad dream. I could tell. Come here."

I grab Wanda's hand and massage it.

She comes towards me and hugs me.

"It's ok. I'm right here. You're not alone."

I can feel her crying in the crook of my neck.

I hold her gently. I massage her with kindness.

"Let it all out ok. Just let it all out."

She continues crying.

"I'm right here. It's ok Wanda."

She holds me closer.

I hold her head as she continues to cry.

I don't know what she's been through, but I know I wanna help her through it.

She must feel so alone.

I don't wanna leave her alone.

No one deserves to be alone.

I'm gonna help her.

I know May would be proud.

She deserves a friend. I'm glad I can be her friend.
