SAGE: Do you want to the party Caleb's hosting? It's after the game.

THEO: I'll meet you there.

I grip my phone to my chest as I stand on the front patio waiting to see him. The parties only been going on for an hour, so I know he could show up soon. I did notice he didn't go to the game, I guess he doesn't really care for football.

"You're really just going to stand there and wait for him to show?" Rina asked from behind me. I turned to see her leaning against the door. Her blonde hair was tied up tonight, and she wore a baby blue dress though it wasn't skin-tight nor mini.

I couldn't help but squint my eyes at her trying to figure out where she was. "What on earth are you wearing?" I couldn't help but say, she looked down at her outfit before glancing back at me. "You don't like it?" I shook my head, of course I liked it, the dress looked like it could have come out of my closet. "It's not you," I said instead and she knew what I meant by that.

Rina likes to dress in a way that others wouldn't. She has the body, tall and skinny but with curves that guys die for. The way she's dressed tonight almost hides all of that. She looks younger too, "I'm trying something knew," Rina simply said. She wasn't offended with what I said, she never is.

"You look cute," I said as she walked towards me. I watched as she took a seat on the swinging chair, patting besides her, I also took a seat. It was easy with Rina, we sat there for twenty minutes in silence and never spoke again until she elbowed my ribs.

With a simple nod, I glanced at the street ahead and saw Theo coming towards us. He slowed his speed down as he gripped his skateboard to his side. "He's a skater boy," Rina hummed while trying to wiggle her eyebrows in a comedic way. Without another word, she got up and left me alone.

"I'm sorry if I'm late, we didn't set a time," Theo rushes out to say as he walked up the steps to the house. I didn't stand and I'm happy about that when he instantly took a seat next to me. The two of us out here, with the sounds of the music and laughter behind us. It was peaceful out tonight, the warm breeze still in the air.

"How are you?" I finally asked, turning my body slightly to face him. His brown eyes meet mine and I almost melted on the spot. He was gorgeous, with his fluffy hair, and light stubble along his jaw. The top of a tattoo was visible on his collar bone, one I wanted to see fully. "Good, you?"

We talked for what felt like hours, it was easy with him.

I think he felt the same as I did, and before I knew it we were curled up. One of his arms wrapped around my shoulders, bringing my body closer. I had one of my hands flat on his right thigh. There was nothing sexual in the way we held each other, it was nice.

"So, how was the game?" Theo finally asked after we finished talking about our classes. "They won, Caleb scored the finally touchdown," I explained with ease. I like football, mostly because of my father. How he went pro, every guy I've ever talked too always puts two and two together when they find out who I am, and whom I am in relation too.

"Gomez-Carter? As in your dad is the Roma Carter, an NFL God?" That's basically how it always goes. Though Theo doesn't know my last name yet, though I doubt he would care. He doesn't seem like the type of guy to only want to know me because of my dad.

Theo nodded as I went on to explain the highlights of the game. How we were losing in the first half but in the second it was like a whole other game. With Romeo scoring almost immediately and then on out, the cougars really put their all into it. That was an obvious, even to someone who didn't watch or understand football.

"So, how did you become friends with the quarterback anyways?" I instantly smiled at his question. At the thought of mine and Caleb's friendship. "Oh, we've been friends for ages, since we were children," I say. Caleb was over a year old when I was born. Mom says that his mom, Olivia and him were one of the first to see me and Eloise. After Roma and Hayden of course.

Apparently, the second Caleb saw me in my moms arms, he held my hand. That's what Olivia and mom both say.

"You two are close," Theo said with a small smile. I nodded as I began moving my hand up and down his thigh. "Yeah, we are, he's one of my closest friends," I say as my eyes zone in on my hand. If Theo was affected by my touch he tried his hardest to ignore it, or at the very least not show it. I take note in how I like touching him like this.

"Sage," I look up at the use of my name. His eyes darken slightly, "Theo." I don't know why I say his name in a whisper, but I like the way it sounds. "You're killing me," he says in a husky voice. My mind takes a second to catch up and almost as if I had been burnt, I quickly remove my hand from him.

My cheeks redden, leaning over, he gripped my hand with his before placing it back on his thigh. Not any higher than I had previously had it, which I liked. "I didn't say stop," he whispered, and almost as if it was just us, I leaned in. My forehead rested against his before he made the first move.

His lips met mine and just like the first time, I melted against him. I'm pretty sure I moaned into the kiss, but I couldn't find it in me to care. I wanted him more than anyone else. I didn't know what was happening to me but when it came to him, I wanted to touch him. But more importantly, I wanted him to touch me.

Pulling away slightly, he kept his forehead against mine before he spoke once again. "We should watch a movie at mine tonight," he didn't form his words at a question though I knew I could have said no if I wanted too. Though of course I wanted to go with him, anywhere. I would happily sit here all night if that meant I could just be near him.

"Okay," I whispered as he gently held my hand with his. Standing up, I allowed him to take lead as we walked back to his with not a care in the world. We weren't rushing, it was just easy between us.
