Hello, guys. I'm back with yet another chapter. Thank you for reading my story. Let's start.

As they entered, they saw that their father was reading some documents and he was so engrossed in his file that he hadn't registered their entrance.

Shweta looked at Sid only to see that he was already looking at her. She cleared her throat to get her father's attention. He suddenly looked up from his file and was visibly shocked to see his children.

Sd- Oh, when did you both come. I didn't get to know.

Sid- Yeah, you're busy in your file.

Sd- Yes, I was just checking the annual finance report.

Sid- Ohk!

Sd- So what brought you two here?

Di- I wanted to talk to you about something.

Sd- I'm listening...

Di- I don't...I don't

Sd- You what Shiwi? You know that you can tell me anything.

Di(she closed her eyes and spoke)- I don't want to get married.

Sd- It's about time that you confessed. ( he sighed)

Di- You knew?

Sid- Did you know?

Sd- Obviously!

What do you think? I'm your father. I know what even you don't know.

Sid- Yeah, yeah. Everyone knows me better than myself. (he said to himself remembering his best friend's same statement)

Sd- Seriously, it's written on your face.

Di- You knew and you still tried to get me married? ( she opened her mouth in 'O' in shock)

You're mean!!

Sd- Shut up. I didn't try to get you married. I planned all this because I wanted to hear it from you. I know that you got a job in London and you want to go there.

Di- You lied to me about the meeting?

Sd- Yep. I had to. YOU LIED TO US.

When you were little, you used to eat ice-cream from the fridge at midnight. And when asked you used to deny it completely even when you still had cream all over your mouth and clothes. Oh god, you're messy!

This lie was as easy to catch for us.

Di- How did you know?

Sd- You forgot that you have your e-mail id signed into my PC. I received the mail too and also it was evident through your actions and mood swings how happy you were.

Di- Oh shit!

Sd- Language, young lady!

Di- Sorry dad. Not only for this but for everything. I shouldn't have lied to you. I was worried.

Sd- I can understand. It happens when you are that age.

Sid- I know what not to do if I want to keep any secret.( he murmured)

Sd- Son, I don't need your id to know that you like someone.

Sid- What?

How did you know?

Di- Woah!! You like somene? Romantically?

Well, that's new.

Sid- So, why did you call me here? ( whining changing the topic on his cue)
