*Picture, the void*
The void, the dream once in my mind trap within is now the thing trapping me. the thing that gave me comfort, is now the same void that took me away from my family and my life. I couldn't tell how much time had passed It felt like years had gone by, but there was no way of knowing.
Where am I?
Like in my dreams, I couldn't do anything, I ran but running feels like swimming in an endless pool. I yell into the void, but it only came out as whispers as if I was hiding from something bigger. My thoughts felt like someone else's scattered memories, never confronted or explained to.
I'm wishing this was a dream too—that I'm on my bed having a night so vivid that my mind thinks it's real. However, the difference that this was real. Seeing my life in one moment then nothing next, that was real.
The only thing I had was smell, why is my sense of smell not affected by this? it most likely because of mom, she always has a keen sense of smell. if I were to slightly burn something, she would run and ask if I burned something.
A weirder moment was when I tried to hide my food; she loved the smell of fruit, she smelled it from across the house and came right to me, asking for it. I couldn't say no.

The void had smell of various places, but it was different, the smell in a way felt much closer like I was there in person, as if I was born there. I know it's not the place I lived but it sure does smell like it. It eventually it smell of a forest.
After that, more senses came back. It was a strange feeling. it reminded me of my earliest memory. It was just blank, a truly blank space, no thoughts, no emotions, just blank, then I gained consciousness and found myself walking up the stairs with my pajamas on. I can never remember anything before that. it was that kind of feeling.
The first sense that came back was touch. It felt great, great joke, I know. I felt the ground below me; it was soft yet felt course on my entire backside, the earthy smell with little droplets of water touching my skin and clothes, it was grass I was on.
I felt the sun's light all over my body, warming it up, some parts of my body were under the shade. A leaf fell on my face, it was smooth but had some droplets on it. The smell of it is what you expect of a leaf: leafy. I tried to move, but to no success.
The next sense was taste. I didn't notice at first But soon found out. My mouth it was extremely dry, as if I hadn't been drinking for days on end. Sure it wasn't a taste but it was a lack of.
The other taste was blood, the rust taste in one's mouth is always a wake-up call, makes people want to move to the mirror. Fortunately, it didn't last long. I tried to move again but no avail
The next sense was hearing. It startled me. Hearing nothing but silence but a sudden burst of noise, like an explosion in your ear. I thought I was going to go deaf Thankfully not.
I listen in to the sounds around me. the rustling of the leaves above me being moved by the wind, hearing droplets of water around me hitting rocks and plants, nearing what seems to be a river nearby.
This is like one of those 'ASMAR water flow, hitting rocks, 3 hours long' videos. Huh, I can see the appeal of those videos now.
It was relaxing honestly, but much it was a nice change of pace from being in the void I still couldn't move. it was like my body was still dreaming. I tried to force any part of my body to move but it was all wasted, it was like being pinned by a large boulder. I yell in my head, hoping that my thoughts will do anything,
