I lived in this house for the better part of my old life, who am I? Well, I am an old lady who lives in this house. I've had a fruitful life, working as a waiter, then finding love on a bright hillside, and having four lovely children, all being wonderful adults.

One is a constructer lead in massive buildings, he always loved building.

One is a teacher, Oh she can't keep away from smashing heads together huh?

One is a performer, I swear she always wants me to worry!

One is one of those tubers, he always wanted to help others no matter what!

And they all make me so—oh sorry! I didn't realize I was yapping, Is that how you use it?—anyway I'm an old lady, who lived a good life and is living alone in this house.

Why is an old lady being alone in a house? isn't every dangerous? What if I fall? Well, my children couldn't help they lived too far from me and I wouldn't want to burden them with an old lady like me.

So I have a young woman who takes care of me with washing, feeding—everything, she does everything super well.

She always does the things I ask her to do without a fuss but it worries me, she is young, why isn't she going with her friends? Why isn't she partying?

I know, I know, why am I asking these questions if she taking care of me it's because every time I see her she looks exhausted each time I swear she is walking at times.

But each time I ask her she always says, "Don't worry about me, I just woke up super early" or "I just went to sleep late".

But it always seems to be different each time like she's afraid to tell me, even when I insist on giving her a day off she always refuses. So one day I took it upon myself to follow her, I dressed up nice and warm, winter gets very cold up north after all.

When walking through town, it was around noon, I forgot how crowded it could be even in winter, but I still remember all of the lights, they still glow a wonderful red and green, and see children play in the snow around me, oh to be young.

After walking I saw the young woman, she was walking by herself, and she looked terribly lonely. She was looking at a storefront window; it displays all sorts of toys, bears puzzle blocks, and play sets. She looks at them putting her hand on the window for a moment before walking away.

I wondered why she was looking at them, but without a doubt, I went in and bought all of the toys on display. Why? Simple, I want to surprise her with these gifts!

After that I continued to follow her, it was now dusk, the streets slowly becoming less crowded, and hiding myself was becoming more difficult but I kept pressing forward. She then stops in front of a bakery.

Again she looked at it but then proceeded to walk away. Why is she doing this? Of course, I walked in and bought some fresh cookies, bread, and donuts for her. It was getting hard to tread on.

I continued to follow her, the street was now empty with just me are her but she didn't notice me. She finally stopped in front of a house it was now night. The house was old, not old where it was falling apart but old in a sense where it wasn't up to modern standards.

She walks into the house taking a peek through a window, I see her and a younger boy together near a fireplace the boy looks clean and shiny compared to everything else in the house and the women.

She was taking care of him by herself? I was shocked by this, the boy was alone! How could I not worry? Slow and steady I made my way to the front door and knocked.

Within a few seconds, she opened the open to see me, of course, she was shocked. Why wouldn't she? I greeted her with a wide smile, "Hello! I brought gifts!"

She stumbled on her words, "H-hello! What brings you here?"

"Oh you know I just wanted to say hi and give you these I hope this won't bother you."

I showed the gift I brought, and again she was shocked, "O-oh! N-no it doesn't bother me, come in you must be cold"

"Thank you dearly"

Walking in the guilds to the fireplace, I saw the boy and he saw me but hid behind her, she told him that I was the person she was taking care of.

"Hiroshi, this is the person I'm taking care of"

The little boy stays silent and keeps staring, eventually, the woman shows him the gifts I brought he immediately walks out from behind her with a huge smile.

"See? She brought these for us Hiroshi"

It was adorable seeing him jump around, it reminds me of my kids seeing the toys. Hiroshi slowly grabbed the toys and quickly started to play with them the smile soon turned into laughter.

Me and the women sat down both watching him play. She said to me, "Thank you for coming here with these gifts, I do appreciate it"

"No need, you just enjoy your day dearie. I have to know why. Do you need help? You can always count on me"

She was caught off guard by it, and she responded, "Well I don't want to burden you with this, I-I didn't have much help with my own after my lover died, it was hard for both of us a-and..." Before I knew it she started to cry.

I comfort her, "There, there, it's alright. If you need anything just ask me"

She let it all out, she told me that after her lover passed away, it became tough to raise her son alone, cleaning, feeding, driving—everything. I lend a heart for her, for her to pour out her heart for me to hear.

After she was done speaking she let her thoughts flow back, "*Sniff* T-thank you for listening. It... just a hard being alone raising your little angel"

"Don't mention it, tell you want, next time bring Hiroshi next time so we can all be together"

"Yes *Sniff* that would be lovely thank you Ms. Haviva"

"Anytime dear"

Soon after she brought her son with her, and it was a joy each time, it was never a dull day with them, we played and sang to our hearts' content.

I can't wait for their next visit!
