I texted today
He didn't respond
Maybe because
He thought I was gone
Maybe because
He'd gotten no word
Of what I had seen
Or what I had heard
Maybe because
I've not spoken to
Him anymore
Than I have had to
But why won't he give me
The time of day
And at least just tell me
To go away?
Why did he choose
To leave me on read
And straight up decide
To ignore me instead?
I'll tell you why
The reason is this:
While he did something that will never be missed
I broke something that can never be fixed
