The next day I didn't tell Zoe anything. You may have thought I was different, someone who would change, but that's not my life. I have my own friends and I need shopping and parties. All of this has taught me what people have to do to get money, but it will soon end for me and drop back into the world of the rich to which I belong.

"I hope you had a good time, Liz." My grandma said while she hugged me on my last work day.

"Yeah. Thanks for letting me work. It was a pleasure." I said.

"Oh Liz. You're not old enough yet to understand the joy of work." She smiled.

"You're right." I said with a fake smile. Does anyone really like to work? I can't believe it.

"Anyway, because you did the tasks assigned to you so well, I have a surprise." She smiled and gave me a present.

"It's not that small. It was expensive?" I asked and I tried to unpack the gift carefully so I could barely touch it if it really cost a lot.

"Not really." She said and I had already seen something golden in color and carefully lifted it out of the foil. "This is one of the items in the store. It was recently brought here so I thought you would be happy for it. What do you think?" She asked fearfully.

"Is this a lantern?" I looked at weirdly.

"When you were a kid, you always watched Aladdin, so it was on this basis that I chose this. If you think you can choose something else. I don't insist on that." She said and would have reached for it to take it out of my hand, but I yanked it away.

"No, this corresponds to." I said and put it in the box. "Thank you." I smiled. She put her hand on her heart calmly and smiled at me.

"I'm glad. I won't even hold you back because you're done. Bye Liz." She said and hugged me the last time.

As soon as I left the store, I was filled with endless happiness to finally be over and to party. I heard someone step out of the store and turned around. I saw Zoe who, after glancing at me, looked away and headed in the opposite direction. I took a deep breath and tried not to concentrate on this bad feeling in my chest. When I got home, I put my bag in the closet and went to lunch.

Luckily, my parents topped up my credit card with money so I could start new shopping promotions, of course in moderation. I avoided any product that was too cheap because it reminded me of work and Zoe. However, this work wasn't so bad.

"Liz!" I heard Sophia's voice. "Are you not well?"

"I'm okay. I was just thinking for a while." I screamed because we were in a house party at Zack.

"It's not the perfect time to think." Isabell said cheerfully. She's been drinking a lot since we've been here. "Where is Zack anyway?"

"Why?" I asked.

"You know." She licked her lower lip. "He's so hot so if you don't seize the opportunity then I will." She took a step toward the stairs, but Sophia stumbled and grabbed her.

"I think you should search him I don't think she won't try to get up there." Sophia winked at me and walked away with the drunk Isabell.

"Now or never huh?" I whispered.

I walked up the stairs with trembling knees to find Zack's room. I thought I'd go into the bathroom above one last time to see what I looked like. The sight before my eyes shocked me. Zack and Maya? Together and naked? Zack was the first who noticed me.

"Do you want to join?" I stood in shock and didn't realize that this was really happening here in front of me now. Zack looked at me questioningly, standing in front of the tap, while Maya, sitting on the edge of the tap, kissed Zack's neck, not caring that I was in the bathroom too. I shook my head and I stepped back still in shock. "Door!" Zack shouted, implying that I hadn't closed the bathroom door so anyone could see them.

"Something happened?" Sophia asked after I found them. Isabell was so drunk by the time she slept on Sophia's shoulder on the couch.

"I think I'm going home." I said.

"Why? Not even an hour." She said and Isabell's face turned toward me in the other direction and stood up.

"What happened?" She asked.

"He was with Maya." I whispered. She looked surprised and started walking up the stairs.

"Where are you going?" I asked, grabbing her arm.

"Unclear? Tear out her hair. She would have deserved it a long time ago." She said angrily.

"Not worth it. You would break your beautiful nails." I looked at her long nails, which already resembled claws rather than nails, also referring to their shape. In addition, I was afraid that someone would really get hurt and we would be in trouble.

"You're right. But please don't leave me here with her!" She looked at the drunk Isabell in disgust. Oh well. She doesn't really despise free alcohol.
