viviana and susannah ended up watching five feet apart — despite laurelʼs protests.
viviana loved romance movies, whatever trope they were. her favorites were right person, wrong time, star-crossed lovers and unrequited love.
if it wasn't obvious yet, the girl liked to believe that if love existed, it couldn't last long, she liked the agnst that came with these tropes, she liked the pain.
she liked to think that she didn't need love, that she was okay alone because love was painful and scary.
and viviana didn't like taking risks that much, and becoming friends with jeremiah again brought a huge risk the girl wasn't willing to admit yet
“i am too tired” lilith groaned from next to viviana who raised a brow at her “then go to bed”
“why are you being mean?” lilith frowned as viviana mirrored her expression and mumbled an apology
“i should head back home, it's getting late” viviana said quietly as cordelia frowned
“i didn't see your car in the driveway, how are you going to get back home?”
“oh i can walk, it's not that far” viviana shrugged as susannah shook her head “ just stay with jere”
and after many protests from viviana she gave in and went upstairs along with lilith, the blonde girl going to the room she was staying in while viviana knocked softly on jeremiahʼs door
as jeremiah opened the door he smiled down at the girl “hey”
“your mom didn't let me go back home” viviana awkwardly hugged herself
jeremiah was quick to reply “oh you can stay here” viviana found it adorable how he so willingly invited her to stay, she wondered if it was him being genuinely sweet to her or was it because they were still pretending.
viviana walked in awkwardly, as jeremiah stood behind her “ do you want something to change into?”
“oh no it's okay i can sleep in my clothes” viviana smiled awkwardly as jeremiah laughed at her “ i can try and find something for you”
jeremiah kept going through his wardrobe until he found a shirt that she could use, but vivianaʼs eyes caught something else
“ is that my hello kitty pyjama?” viviana wondered out loud as jeremiah picked it up, it looked so small
“ i never saw it here” jeremiah excused as viviana nodded and took the shirt and pants jeremiah got for her, he gave her the hello kitty pyjama too
“could you um — could you turn around?” viviana awkwardly asked as jeremiah nodded and turned around immediately “sorry”
“mhm” viviana said as she changed into his clothes, but as she looked at herself in the mirror next to her she burst out laughing
“can i turn around?” jeremiah asked as viviana immediately answered “no this is horrible!” she was still laughing.
