S - had just woken up in the hospital bed

C - grabs Sydney's hand

C - well jake told the doctor you fell down the stairs is that true do you remember ?
S - um not really
Devon walks in the room interrupting
D - what the hell are you doing in here
A - I said he could be here jake
D - oh sorry mrs Harris
D - well I would like some alone time with Ella if you both don't mind
C - actually I ...
A - Ashton let's go down to the cafe ok
Devon glares at Charlie
They leave
D - I hope you didn't say anything you shouldn't have
S- shakes head
D - good now you won't ever lie to me right
S - no ..
D - I'm leaving now I'll be back in the morning when you get to leave
D - leaves the room
S - sighs of relief
Nurse walks in
N - hi Ella I'm nurse Bailey I'm gonna take you to get your cast put on
S - looks down at her arm in a sling
Change of scene
Charlie sitting around a group of kids and teens singing with his guitar the nurse wheels Ella to the group in a wheelchair
Song ends and Charlie notices Sydney
S - Ella smiling
C - motions her over to him
C- this is my friend Ella
Kids - hi Ella
C - I'll sing you Ella's favourite song it's called maybe more than friends
After the song a kid puts up her hand
B - mr mays can I ask you something
C - sure thing what's your name ?
B - I'm Carly age 14
C - laughs all right ask away
B - since that song was about a best friend is that about your friend Ella ?
C - oh um well
S - blushes

Maybe more than friends was Ashton's first single and it became one of his most popular songs and I knew when it first came out it was about me the lyrics basically described  me perfectly
Carly - it's ok if your too embarrassed to answer haha
C - well yes and ella knows I'm pretty sure
S - nods
Nurse darla - well kids let's thank mr mays for coming here
Kids - thank you !
C - your welcome
Charlie turns to face sydney
C - pink cast I like it ( grabs a sharpie to write his name )
C - signs I love you - ash
C - since everyone has left now it's just you and me can you tell me what happened el ?
S - I don't remember
C - please el Jake's gone for now I know you didn't just fall down the stairs even the doctor said there was other injuries that didn't look like they came from falling down the stairs you know you can trust me please talk to me
S - sighs I.. I'm scared to tell you ash
C - I know el but whatever you have to tell me I'll help you with it no matter what it is
S - ( sighs ) when jake got home the other day I was in the shower my phone was in our room and when I got out he demanded to see my phone because he could see I was getting texts from you I said no cause that my phone is personal and that I don't demand to look at his he got angry and that scared me he grabbed it from me and looked at our texts and yelled at me for thinking of leaving him and he threw my phone which broke into a bunch of pieces he started get violent which honestly has happened many times before I'm used to it we are arguing he got so mad he shoved me
C - ( teary eyed ) so he pushed you down the stairs el ?
S - ( nods )
C - oh ella you can't stay with him any longer
S - no you don't understand ash I can't he would be so angry and I...
C - Ella he's hurt you we have to tell the police what he's done to you is very wrong
S - but I'm scared ash
C - you can stay with me I'll keep you safe I promise please ella I can't let you stay with him he's dangerous I mean look what he did to you

C - ( grabs Sydney's hand )
C - please I can't stand to see you like this he hurt you ella he's a bad guy
S - ( starts to cry ) I'm sorry I should have left earlier Im just scared he's threatened me for years and he was so nice whenever my family was around so they liked him and I didn't have anyone to talk to about it because he was fake in front of my mom so she loved him and I didn't want to upset my mom .
C - shhh ella it's ok ( hugs Sydney )
S - I'm sorry I'm so sorry
C - no no you have nothing to be sorry for look at me Ella you were scared I understand but now I'm here to help you I can keep you safe just come home with me please
S + c - stares at each other for a couple seconds
S - but what about Jake what if he comes for me he'll be so angry and I don't want that
C - don't worry if he comes around I'll deal with him

c - I promise we will go to my house after your discharged in the morning ok ?

Scene change
Hospital room Sydney's sleeping so is Charlie beside her
D - what the hell is this
S + c wake up
D - Ella I swear your in so much trouble when we get home I told you to stay away from him your with me not him

C - she doesn't want to go home with you
D - I didn't ask you Andrew
C - it's Ashton and she's afraid of you she's done
D - that's not true right Ella baby ?
S - I...m sorry
D - this is not happening come on Ella doctor said you can go home ( grabs her arm pulling her out of bed )
C - let go of her Ella you need to tell him you can do it
S - I .. don't want to be with you anymore jake
D - you don't mean that baby what happened was an accident that won't ever happen again I swear
S - Jake you have said that before that's a lie it always happens again you've hurt me too many times now
Nurse - I've heard shouting is everything okay in here ?
D - were fine !
C - actually no he needs to leave ( points at Devon )
D - no she is my girlfriend and I'm trying to take her home but he's trying to stop me
N - Ella honey what's really going on
S - he's my boyfriend yes but I don't want to go home with him I didn't fall down the stairs he pushed me purposely he always hurts me
D - shut up I do not stop telling people lies about me
N - okay sir I need you to leave
D - you cannot kick me out of here I'm not leaving without her
N - then I am  gonna call security and they will arrest you for domestic violence and more Ella has proof on her own body showing what you did to her they will not believe your lies
D - sure I really believe that haha
N - security !!
D ( runs out of the room ) 
N - don't worry I'll make sure they arrest him ( runs out of the room )

Charlie and I were on our way back to my apartment after our long day of filming tomorrow would be a big shooting day and I was very nervous tomorrow was a very intimate scene with our characters Charlie and I had kissed before and made out but due to my last relationship Charlie was sweet and didn't take anything too fast or do anything that would make me uncomfortable I was nervous since I had not done anything intimate in a long time . "Are you okay" Charlie asked me grabbing my hand "I don't know I replied I was scared to tell him how I was feeling what if he was excited and I would be making him feel bad that he was . "Syd please tell me what's bothering you" he asked . I sighed I couldn't lie to him ,our scene tomorrow I'm very nervous about it I mean we haven't done anything like that in our real relationship and the last time I did was with hunter . What if I'm terrible at it what if I mess up it's gonna be super awkward and embarrassing . I felt tears form as the words came out I didn't even notice how nervous and upset I was about it until it all came out .  "Sydney I love you" Charlie said grabbing my hand . "Tomorrow will be fine I know it's a little scary to do this in front of a bunch of people and camera I understand but your with me not some stranger just think about us block out the cameras the people and you will be just fine I promise" . I nodded "okay" I replied as I laid my head on his shoulder .
