"NEXT" the officer called

I stood up, let them get my fingerprints then took the small rectangular shaped sign with my number on it.

"Alright look here and just look." The lady said obviously fed up with her job

I looked at the camera and cracked a little smile. The lady looked at me like I was crazy and waved me off.

"Here you go." This other officer said as she handed me my clothes

I stripped out of my other ones and put those on. After that they lead me to the back where all the other prisoners were being held.

"Here's your room. Behave" the officer said glaring at me

I walked in and nobody was in there.

"Ouuu maybe we have this room all to ourselves cs how coo coo for cocopuffs we are!" Mani said

"Maybe" I said a little uneasy

I put my stuff away. Chose my bunk and laid down looking at the ceiling.

I wonder what my baby was doing at home. Hopefully she's okay..

"Mama we have to get her out of there please!" I sobbed

"Baby now yk we can't. She definitely not on bail for murder. She'll go to court, have her trial and we'll see how much time they give her and visit her when we can. Thats all there's to it." My mom said as she rubbed my back

"No no no!" I screamed as I hit a pillow

"Calm down Izayah." My mom said sternly

I let out a heavy sigh and started sobbing louder, causing my whole body to shake. My mom just rubbed my back and tried to calm me down as best as she could.

I hope my baby was doing okay in the big house.

Yea these chapters a lil short but yall gotta understand one- I'm in school, play a sport and work. Plus I bake on the side and shit so I'm ALWAYS busy. two- this book is gonna have about 40 chapters plus a sequel possibly so yall can't be to mad about these short chapters.
