✩𝗬𝗼𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗺𝗮 (𝗬𝗼𝘀𝗵𝗶) 𝗧𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝗠𝗼𝘅

𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗥𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗲, 𝗟𝗼𝘂𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗮

- 𝗔 𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗧𝗛 𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗥 -

It had been a month since Sani had bailed me out. I had stayed with her and her family but it wasn't long before I got an apartment because I wasn't a person who liked to depend on others for a long time.

I had found me a nice job at this tattoo shop and had made enough money to buy a phone, car and an apartment in the same week.

I pulled up to Target to get my groceries for the next two weeks.

"In and out Yoshi..in and out." I mumbled to myself

And that's exactly what I DIDN'T do.

"Stupid target..taking my damn money" I groaned to myself

I popped my trunk and put all my groceries in. Once that was done I got in my car and started backing up. I looked like maybe once and nothing was coming so I continued till I heard a thud against my car.

I looked out my rear view mirror and saw this tall brownskin with dreads trying to like catch himself.

I put my car in park and got out fast.

"OMG ARE YOU OKAY?! IM SO SORRY I DIDN'T SEE YOU. PLEASE DON'T CALL THE COPS I JUST GOT OUT OF JAIL" I rushed out

He looked at me and waited for me to calm down which took a lil minute.

"You good ma?" He asked

I nodded and felt tears rolling down my cheek.

"Hey hey don't cry. You to pretty for that" he said gently wiping my face

I smiled softly at him. I hadn't been called pretty in a long as time and him doing this made me feel warm inside.

"I'm Travis, you are?" He said

"Yoshima but I go by Yoshi" I said

"A very pretty name for a very pretty girl" he said making me smile bigger

"Thank you" I said

"I gotta go but lemme get your number though" he said pulling out his phone

I put my number in and handed it back to him.

"Text you later pretty girl" he said winking at me then walked away

I mentally screamed in my head. Felt like I was in a damn movie. I got in my car and sped to my apartment. I couldn't wait to tell Sani.
