"What was that?" She asked her mother who was sitting,in the middle of her painting when her daughter interrupted by barging through the door "You're supposed to knock" she said while her daughter scoffed
"And you're not supposed to arrange someone's life without asking them" Naeun said while Mingxia looked at her as if she was bored "This was a week ago, adjust into it" she said while Naeun scoffed "I'm not you, mother" she replied

Mingxia frozen before looking at her daughter with those cold eyes "look kid, this isn't your little Barbie dream life you lived in,Grow up." She said harshly before she continued painting "You know how I feel mother" she said while her mother continued painting "You faced it yourself, wouldn't you be doing what grandfather did?" She asked silently

Mingxia chuckled "I don't care Naeun" she said while continuing to paint "Yes you do, you still care. You knew you had a chance with Mr Koga, mother. Everyone knew" she exclaimed while her mother got up from her seat "I'm doing this for you Naeun" she said

Naeun scoffed "Good for me.What's good for me? An absent mother and father? I know you were hurt but you didn't even bat an eye about how your children feel, did you?" She questioned her mother who stood speechless "In fact, you don't even know what's better for yourself. You don't care about me, all you care about are your new branded dresses" she said while laughing bitterly before she walked out.

Naeun walked out of that hellhole, driving in the heavy rain letting the road lead her way, The park. She got out from her car, sitting down on the swing as she cried. She noticed someone's presence beside her but she didn't care as tears rolled down her eyes. She suddenly felt as if the rain stopped, she looked around too se someone's shadow beside hers.

She looked up to see a familiar boy "You dyed your hair" she muttered loud enough for him to hear.
He chuckled and shaked his head before sitting down next to her and giving her a tissue "Why are you crying?" He asked while she looked away "I stepped on a Lego" she lied

He tsked at her "Silly girl, atleast lie properly" He said while she looked offended "Not my fault legos hurt really bad" she mumbled while pouting which made him hum, acting as if he was convinced "Your house is like three hours away from here, why'd you come to this park?" He asked while she just hummed "I live near here with my roommate" she explained "where do you live?"

"I live in Apujeong, I came here to get some free time but then I saw a damsel in distress so I had no choice but save her" he said dramatically which made her roll her eyes playfully "You owe me one, arranged girlfriend" he said which made her laugh "then let me take you out, my arranged boyfriend" she said cheekily which made him smile

"Well, I'll be going now" he said while looking at the time and standing up to look at the girl showing him puppy eyes and holding onto his shirt. He sighed "you wanna come over, my mom would love to see you" he offered which made her eyes sparkle "I'd love that" she said which made him smile

They rode in his car, it was a comfortable silence as they both sat and music played in the background.
Gyuvin stopped the car to see Naeun who was sleeping, he smiled "I'll try to be enough for you" he whispered out before waking her up "we've reached" he said while she just got up "oh" she said before both of them got out.

"Gyuvin, I told you to bring your jacket today. You're probably soaking wet right now" Aera nagged as she came out to the hallway to greet her oldest son just  to see a girl standing nervously behind her. Aera smiled "My favourite daughter" she exclaimed before hugging Naeun who hugged back.

"Oh my, you both are soaking wet. You both can go shower, Naeun can wear my clothes" she said while  Gyuvin nodded and went upstairs and Naeun just bowed to her before following Gyuvin like a lost puppy.

And there she was, in someone else's clothes while sitting next to Gyuvin and watching a movie but she wasn't watching it. She was more focused on the character development they both had.

She suddenly turned towards him "You know, I thought you were a bitch" she said which made him choke on his drink and laugh "I thought you were a spoilt brat" he said which made her laugh "I am, I just don't show it" she said which made him smile "alright alright"

Naeun closed her drowsy eyes, feeling her sleepiness overtake her before drifting off to dreamland. Gyuvin noticed the heavy weight of his shoulder, noticing the girl asleep, he smiled. He looked at her with adoration "We've only known eachother for a month yet you still make me go crazy for you" he muttered while staring at the girl with his lovestruck smile.

Naeun groaned as she got woken up by the sunlight hitting through the window. She cursed herself for not closing it. She looked at her phone to see it was 3:45 PM. She widened her eyes at the time before she sighed and scrolled down her phone.

She noticed someone's hand around her waist, pulling her deeper. She looked to see that it was Gyuvin who's eyebrows were creased as he pulled her down, she chuckled before brushing the hair out of his face "Gyuvin, I have to go" she said as she layed down again, letting him hug her. He nuzzled his face into the crook of her neck, "just five minutes" he said while she sighed before brushing her hand through his hair.

"I'll set the timer for five then" she said as he nodded before hugging her closer. As she was about to turn off the alarm before he caught her hand, opening his eyes but closing them again because of the sunlight that hit her face. "Gyuvin, I have to go. There's a buisness party in the evening and we both need to get ready for it" she said

"I'll drop you off after" he said, his voice raspy and deep. She smiled "it's noon, wake up Vinnie" she said which made him get up faster than a sports car driving over 60 mph per minute. Naeun went down to the kitchen to see a sticky note on the fridge, she took it and read it

I'll directly meet you kids at the party so make anything out of the foods in the refrigerator

Love, mom.       

She smiled at the message. It was probably a normal thing for him but for her, she didn't even know her mother's handwriting. Shaking the emotions within her off, she decided to make them fried rice. As she made it, Gyuvin came and sat down, resting his head on the kitchen table while looking at the girl.

He smiled as he looked at her every move. She looked back at him and smiled while passing him a plate as they ate silently "Can you accompany me to the mall if you're free? I'll pay you back and I need a dress for the party" she said and continued "You don't need to if you don't want to, I can invite my other friends"

He looked at her and shook his head "I'll go with you" he said while she looked at him excited "really?" She said while he nodded with a smile "I'll take you to the best donut store in the whole city" she bragged while he just smiled at her before opening his phone and texting someone
