Violette's POV

I felt someone staring intensely, drowning out the commotion, I looked for the source.

Seemingly surprised, I looked at the god who was watching me.
His intense gaze seemed to bore into my soul.

He had long red hair, yellow markings on his face, a black sclera with yellow to green irises.
As intimidating as he looked, with his bulging muscles, I refused to look down.

He seems to be surprised as well, that I didn't falter or look away, instead a smirk played on his lips.

Overall, the god was extremely handsome.

Amethyst eyes stared into lime green.

'I think, if I may remember correctly, he must be the god of thunder, Thor'

3rd POV

The laughter of the gods brought her back from her trance.

"Then Ragnarok it is..!! "
Zeus proclaimed.

"Now, to introduce this beautiful lady right here"

Violette seemed to tense up at the statement.

All the gods were on the edge of their seats, wanting to know who the woman was.

Even Hades and Poseidon.

"This woman right here, is the daughter of an old friend of mine,which I refuse to expose.... "
All gods deadpanned at that.

"...however, she is the goddess of life and death "
Zeus' voice echoed through the hall.

It became silent, then murmurs started.

"What? Did I hear that right? "

"Goddess of life and death!? "

"She looks like she wouldn't even hurt a fly"

"Is this a joke? "

Hades and Poseidon couldn't believe their ears,
'That woman, was the goddess of life and death?
She looked too calm and docile to carry such kind of title.

The entire pantheon was beyond chaos, everyone clearly thinking it was joke.

During the ruckus, an angelic voice called out,
"Excuse me, but what Zeus said is true "

All eyes were on the woman

Suddenly,
Two high pitched voice caught her attention,

"What? You are really the goddess of life and death? "
A black raven screeched, flapping his wings. 

"Isn't she pretty though " the white raven exclaimed.

"Doesn't matter, she looks too soft " the black argued. 

"Don't judge by her appearance"
Zeus chuckled.

"Then you must be strong, lord Odin should arrange lord Thor to marry her "
The white raven cawed out.

"They will make a good pair "the black raven agreed.

The two birds were perched on the shoulders of each sides of the Norse god.

The spectators were shocked by the last statement.

"What? " Hades thought, slightly annoyed.

Even Thor was slightly surprised and amused by it.

Violette looked at the Norse Allfather, and gracefully bowed.
"Its good to finally meet you in person, Lord Odin, I have heard many great things about you from Zeus "

The god seemed to be pleased with her,
Opening his one good eye, he stared down at the young goddess.
"Likewise, young one, I've heard about you from Zeus, but never was introduced"

He glared at Zeus, who only seemed to snicker away.

Now, all eyes were on the Norse god, even his son Thor was quite surprised.

His father heard about her before, but never mentioned about it even  once?

But nonetheless, he respected his father's judgment, as he was a wise man and might have done it on purpose.

Zeus' loud voice shook the entire hall,
"Now that she is here, we have a powerful ally, though she may look calm, she can par with anyone on the battlefield... "

"... Even with me, Now let's show... " He walked up to the dragon and smashed it's snout.

"... The Power of the gods"
Zeus shouted with a crazed expression,
Blood splattered on his face,
He took the gavel and smashed it into bits, agreeing with the idea of 'Ragnarok'

The two female individuals at the top grimaced at the sight.

The gods noticed that Violette did not even flinch at the gruesome show of power,
she walked calmly to Hermes' side as to not dirty her dress with the dragon's blood.

She turned to Zeus, a calm exterior, a face devoid of any malice,
"Zeus, need I remind you that, I will not be taking sides"

That sentence caught the other gods attention, annoyed by the fact that a goddess was not taking the sides of the divine, as in 'her kind'

Poseidon too was furious with her statement.

But all that was thrown when Zeus laughed aloud, no anger visible,
He turned to her and began teasing,
"Oh, I knew you would say that... Given the circumstances that you lived among humans "

Violette disagreed,
"I merely wish to not choose any sides regarding this matter "

Hades was starting to feel drawn towards this new goddess, who seems to posses such decisive concepts.
She seems to be the perfect woman that everyone would want to court .
She was calm, elegant and intelligent, sure, she was beautiful but rather, he was more interested in her character and personality.

He knew that Poseidon had even taken an interest in the new goddess, though the latter didn't show it, but he knew his brother too well.

Violette smiled, too calm for their liking,
"Then it is best that you do not force me to choose "

"Hahahaha... Very well then "
Zeus was rather amused than angry at her statement.

"It seems that this meeting is adjourned"

He turned to the goddess, " Shall we, my dear "

"Very well "

As the three made their way out, the other gods too began to exit the hall.

Violette's POV

I stopped walking and looked back,
Unaware that Zeus too had stopped to question my actions.

"I need to be excused for a while, is it alright if I visit you after a few minutes "

Zeus seemed to thinking but shrugged and nodded.
"Make sure to drop by, or else Hera will blast my ear off "

"Don't worry, I'll be there"
I smiled.

As Zeus and Hermes walked away, I turned and walked to where I saw, was the half god.

Turning to a corner, I saw the Valkyrie kneeling, while his sister was shaking in fear, ahead of them was the thunder god, Thor.
It seems something did happen, judging by the blood on his hammer, a body half torn from the wais, internal organs everywhere and the valkyrie covered in blood.

I walked towards them,

"Don't disappoint me, or I'll kill you myself "
That was what Thor said before walking off.

Halting on my tracks just behind them, I  sighed,

'Zeus sure is gonna give me an earful for this '
