Chapter 05

A week had gone by as after Grace was married and the house she was staying on seemed a bit like home. She was comfortable enough in the house to walk around alone as well not be scared of the men who were guarding the house.

She was even familiar with Nicole's and Kyle's routine when they would be home and gone.

Nicole, she was mostly out of house whole day and night, but come in the morning Grace would always find her sitting on the breakfast table.

She would either be sipping coffee and mending her headache or fighting with Kyle on something.

Like every night Nicole was absent again, even if she feels like it is not her place to say anything, Nicole's staying away out of night especially at night was not something Grace agree with.

She wonder how ca anyone socialize and party every day of their life, she would rather be in home eating junk food and watch corny romantic movies, then again it's her.

Therefore, one more night all alone in this huge house sighing as she grades the papers and tries to not fall asleep. She turns towards the T.V. time to time to enjoy the show it is on going.

After she is done with the papers, she stretches a bit as she walks to the kitchen to make something for dinner.

Not being a fan of cooking much she ends up eating cereal and milk again like most of the night when Kyle does not cook something for her.

As she takes the bite from her spoon, he phone rings, first, she goes to ignore it but when she checks on the phone number, she changes her mind.

"Hey Nicole" she calls in between chewing her dinner

"Grace, help me" the scared voice of Nicole alerts her and she gets up from her seat

"Nicole, what is it. Where are you?" she asks trying to not panic, as she does not know what to do

"I am in big trouble and I cannot call Kyle or anyone for help. Please, do not tell Kyle about this but you need to pick me up right now" she pleads to Grace who looks around the house frantically

"I don't know how am I suppose to help you if I don't tell anyone" she states before rushing to her room to wear something else as she is in her short shorts and old t-shirt

"Please Grace don't say anything to Kyle, I will be good as dead if my brother knew about this. I will message you the address please come and pick me up" she begs Grace who cannot help but agree as she picks her pants and wears it

The ring in phone tells her that she got a message and checking it, it is from Nicole. She hurries to the door and walks out but stops as Roux ask her where she is going.

"Hey Roux, I need your help actually. Can you drive me somewhere?" she asks him while he just stares at her straight before pulling his cell phone out

"Wait, you cannot call Kyle" she shouts going to snatch his phone but when he looks at her suspiciously she adds

"I need to buy some girl's stuff so. My periods are starting soon" she explains him painfully ignoring her embarrassment

"Okay" he states before calling some men and talking with them before they move out

Roux waits for Grace outside as she goes in the store to pick some of her stuff, after paying him she walks to the car.

Roux opens the car door for her before he gets in to start the car. Grace bites her lower lip nervously thinking about how to approach the subject before she prays and speak.
