Chapter 12

"Hi" Grace waves at Toby who looks startled seeing her down in the office

"Uh...hello Mrs. Price, may I know what you are doing in here?" he asks her fidgeting in his place

"Uh, nothing I was just...I was curious about the office so I came down here" she smiles sheepishly

"You shouldn't be here then, I mean boss may not like it so much" he replies with a smile

"Okay, so is he in?" she asks him looking around

"No, he went out for some business, why don't you ask him to give you a tour of the office?" he advices but Grace just smiles walking in freely

"We both know the answer to that," she states before she touches the desk in front of her and goes to pick up a file when Toby stops her

"I don't think boss will like you snooping around in his office and most of the things in here are confidential"

"I am not snooping around" she protests weakly before turning to leave the room.

The next time Grace Walks in to the office is to find both Toby and Nicholas deep in conversation, so she knocks on the door to get their attention.

"I brought coffee," she cheers walking inside with a tray filled with three mugs of coffee

"I see your cat is out" Nicholas comments as he gets up from his chair while dismissing Toby

Grace happily passes one mug to Toby on his way out with a smile.

"I don't know what you are talking about" she plays as she walks inside and checks his office.

"Of course" he chuckles before taking the coffee she offered

"So, this is where you hide most of your days, hmm" she comments as she sips on her coffee and looks around

"I don't hide"

"Of course" she nods using his words

"Someone is playful today," he teases watching her carefully

"It's my off day, so I was thinking something," she admits carefully

"I am ears then" he encourages her

"How about a tour to the city, I wouldn't have bothered you but Nicole has some other plans so" she opens her arms towards him in a silent plea.

Nicholas turns to look at his desk filled with the papers he needs to go through before turning back towards her.

"Okay, go get ready" he gives in

"Really, thank you" Grace cheers dancing happily in front of him before she realizes what she was doing and runs out of the room"Crazy girl" he chuckles shaking his head before calling Toby in

"So, what's the plan?" Nicholas asks he drives with his wife to tour the city

"Movies may be," she voices unsure

"Okay, so you don't watch movies enough at home that you want to do the same out as well" he teases her

"But it's a different kind of fun watching a movie in a theater with big screen" she defends

"Okay, so now that we are going to explore the difference what movie will we be watching?" he asks her

"Jurassic world" she grins happily

"It seems you have it all planned it out huh?"

"Kind of, but it's not a date if that's what you are thinking about" she clears it out re-thinking her idea to come out of the house with him
