Atsushi and Akutagawa had both woken up quite early. The only bad thing was that Akutagawa was too weakened to walk.

Atsushi was confused as to not seeing Akutagawa. He stood and walked to his room, knocking on the door. He felt fear sink into his heart. Did he die already? What happened to him? He pushed those thoughts back. "Akutagawa? Are you alright in there?"

Akutagawa coughed in response, his breathing raspy. "I'm fine, dammit. I... can't walk..." He spoke coldly, angered for feeling so weak.

Atsushi's eyes widened. "Can I open the door?"

"Yes."

Atsushi opened the door, the door creaking a bit as it opened. He was met with Akutagawa sat against the bed frame. His eyes were drooped down, as he was tired.

Atsushi quickly wandered to Akutagawa's side. He opened his mouth to speak, but was cut off.

"I still want to see the fireworks. No matter how many days I have left. We're supposed to see them tomorrow, Jinko. Don't you dare go back on your word."

Atsushi nodded. "Let me make you-"

"You will not be setting foot in my kitchen. I'll order takeout." Akutagawa sighed. He looked away and coughed up blood. His hands gripped his blanket, as he was in pain. The blood clots landed in a bucket beside the bed. He was shaking slightly, though Atsushi knew not to comment on it

Atsushi finally spoke up.

"Then today, we'll stay in."
